  1. Mine doubled so deleted the first one
  2. Draft 1: Stay Put!!! D’Andre Swift RB/Weapon 2: Jeremy Chinn S/LB 3: Troy Pride Jr CB 4: Tyler Biadasz C 5: Donovan Peoples-Jones WR 6: Jon Runyon OL 6: KJ Hill WR 6: Eno Benjamin RB 7: Tommie Stevens QB 7: Jonathan Garvin DE HATED our draft. But the board didn’t fall great either but looking back I would have done this.
  3. I was playing around on Fanspeak and came up with this scenario. Again I know it’s not real but I am bored without sports. So rip it apart I don’t care. Enjoy Gutey needs money as players are still out there for him to grab. Restructures Adams and Bahk. No brainers long time PACKERS we need them. Cut Lane Taylor Free Agents: Everyone we already brought back. Demarcus Robinson WR Rashard Higgins WR Ronald Darby CB Extensions: DT Kenny Clark Big time money for Clark he earned it RB Aaron Jones A raise for our offense but no where near top money. He sees the writing on the wall and just wants to be a Packer. Loves it here and wants to stay. Gutey gives him a raise and keeps him happy. THE DRAFT: 1: Patrick Queen ILB 2: Ross Blacklock DT 3: Neville Gallimore DT 4: Tyler Biadasz C 5: DJ Wonnum OLB 6: Willie Gay JR ILB 6: Harrison Hand CB 6: Jacob Breeland TE 7: Javelin Guidry CB 7: Tyrie Cleveland WR OUR DEFENSE IS STACKED WITH YOUNG TALENT!!!! We go into the future and the end of Arods career with what could be a top 3 defense with all these pieces. Front seven talent is insane. Big Z, Preston, Kenny, Queen, Blacklock, Gallimore, Gary, and Kirks ( and maybe even Gay he put on a show at the combine) That is crazy.
  4. Y’All Going To Hate it Mock So pretty much everyday I wake up and do a Fanspeak mock draft while I drink my Morning coffee or at least read about the NFL offseason. I mean it’s 4:30 am and I don’t wanna wake anyone so I read on my phone with my pup next to me. Today I did one and it got me thinking about a crazy off season idea. For everyone out there I know that this will not and can not happen it’s just for phone but it’s an idea in my head.... so here it is rip it at the end. —— On the team plane after the NFC Championship game Gutey is mad but can’t show it. He has his coach and loves his QB. Gutey is thinking of every way to get A-Rod another ring. Once the plane lands he gets to work with this crazy idea to make the best defense ever and get A-Rod one more weapon. CAP SPACE 23.7 mil CUTS: Jimmy Graham +8 mil Lane Taylor +4.2 mil Corey Linsley +8.5 mil NEW CAP 44.4 mil EXTENSIONS: Kenny Clark 5 year extension for the big man set up in a way that gives us 2 mil in cap this year. Somewhere in the ball park of 5yr/75mil NEW CAP 46.4 mil NOT RETAINED: Blake Martinez Brian Bulaga Tramon Williams K. Fackrell G. Allison J. Spriggs R. Grant D. Goodson RESIGNED: Veldheer 1yr/3mil M. Lewis 1yr/2mil Tyler Ervin 1yr/1mil Crosby 3yrs/9mil ERFA Tonyan, Lazard, Lancaster, Kumerow, Sullivan, Redmond Also need about 4mil for Rooks Add that up about 14mil going out. NEW CAP 32.4 mil RESTRUCTURES: D. Adams - We get 6mil NEW CAP 38.4 mil OUTSIDE FREE AGENTS: Going Big Chris Jones DE/DT 5yr/85mil AJ Green WR 2yr/20mil Patrick Onswausor ILB 3yr/12mil Micheal Pierce NT 4yr16mil Nick Kwiatkoski ILB 3yr/10mil THE DRAFT: 1: Jedrick Willis Jr OT Alabama Future at RT. Falls to late round 1 with Becton and Thomas moving up. 2: Tyler Biadasz C WI Chance to start day 1 over Patrick 3: Kyle Dugger S Lenoir-Rhyne Can play the dime linebacker and earn a bigger role 4: KJ Hill WR Ohio State Great value here and can learn behind Adams and Green. Plays the slot too. 5: Jake Breeland TE Oregon Could be a good threat moving forward behind Jace 6: Yasir Durant OT Missouri Back up fights for a roster spot 6: JJ Taylor RB Arizona takes the 3rd RB spot and maybe kicks Ervin to the curb just maybe as a return man. Great pass catcher. 7: Shyheim Carter DB Alabama Has a chance to make the team on specials and as a slot cover over the TE. 7: Mitchell Wilcox TE S. Florida same as Breeland has a chance to develop. Project TE 7: Darius Anderson RB TCU depth at RB will need to let J Will walk next year AGAIN I REALIZE THIS WONT HAPPEN BUT ITS FUN TO THINK ABOUT!!!! Rip it
  5. And I am cutting Corey to lock up the best player not named Adams on our offense. Jones carried us this year and in my mind we need to lock him up. He is too valuable to this team and how the offense needs to look to be successful. And if a 2nd pick gets me a pro bowl caliber C in a couple years damn right I will make that selection. Tyler is going to be a beast.
  6. Billings saw the field on 61.5 percent of Bengals Defense plays last year and played pretty damn well as a run stuffer. Never going to put sack numbers but the San Francisco game pretty much showed us we need someone in the middle that won’t get pushed around.
  7. How you don’t think a Dline of Clark, jerrigan, Billings and David O is not better then Clark Lancaster and lowry is beyond me
  8. I would hardly say McCaffrey and Zeke were the reason there teams didn’t make the playoffs. Gurley and Johnson and bell were all stupid for either health reasons or in the case of bell he is a me first guy but Jones has none of that. He is a great runner and weapon in the pass catching game. great backs do not grow on trees and Jones fits our scheme perfect. And say what you want about wearing the G everywhere you go but he does it perfectly. He is a must and in my eyes the cornerstone of our team with Adams on offense
  9. How do we not want to extend Jones? Him and Adams are our offense. I want to keep Jones more then anything. He is a free agent next year just like Clark. I work on both right now. Jones is the type of player we need, selfless and team first guy. If we let him walk that will be a hole we can’t plug for awhile
  10. My Offseason as Gutey Let’s start by saying hell of a season by the Pack.... to be honest I thought 8 and 8 or 9 and 7. To go 13 and 3 and get to the NFC championship is awesome but that game has got to leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouth because I know it did for me even on the rewatch it was painful. Let’s start with who I am not bringing back: Blake Allison Goodson Grant Fackrell Cuts: Jimmy Graham Lane Taylor Corey Linsley All these cuts are designed to create cap space to maximize Arods last feel years and bring in outside talent we need We have about 50 mil to play with (roughly 45 because we gotta pay the rookies) Pack FA Biggest ONE Brian Bulaga - we keep out RT for 3 more years at 30 mil ON TO THE OTHERS: Jared Veldheer - great swing tackle and come cheap 1 yr/3.5 mil Tyler Ervin - our return game needs him 1yr/1mil Mason Crosby - 4 years 3.5 mil keeps him in the G M. Lewis - wants one more year to get a ring and loves it here 1 yr / 2.5 mil Tramon - same as Lewis wants on more great locker room glue guy 1 yr/4mil SOME NOTABLE ERFA Sullivan, Redmond, Lazard, Lancaster, Tonyan and Kumerow ADD THAT UP AND WE HAVE 25 mil going out and about 20 mil to play with. EXTENSIONS KENNY CLARK - need to pay the man... won’t kick in this year for money purposes but he will be a top 6 DT GUY going to get 14 mil a year for 5 maybe more. AARON JONES - this needs to get done as well.... no clue on money but I would guess 13 mil We also have some big 2021 free agents that will need new deals coming up. Off the top of my head Bahk, King lead the race Keeping some of that 20 mil for him and Clark so I won’t spend it all. Plus we will have Lewis, Tramon, Ervin and Veldheer coming off next year to have money for these guys. Plus I have a feeling Lowry is not seeing his whole contract just need to get passed the dead money. So we can afford both of these cornerstones. OUTSIDE FREE AGENTS Everyone wants us to sign AJ Green and I can see us kicking the tires on it.... but he hasn’t played in a year and the risk isn’t worth it so we try to fill some holes in other areas. Timmy Jerrigan DT - plays along side Clark to gives us another guy to stop the run. Had a 1 year 2 mil deal last year in Philly. So I think we can get him for 2 years @ 3 mil per yr David Onyemata DT - gives us depth and a starting D-line that blows Lancaster and Lowery out of the water. 3yrs @ 5 mil per year Gutey sees the need for nose tackle to give Clark a break and finds a gem that not many ppl are talking about. Andrew Billings comes to GB from Cincy on a 3 year deal worth 4 mil a year. Gives a starting d-line of Jerrigan - Clark - Billings with Onyemata rotating in.... with the smith bro’s outside our d-line is in much better shape while not spending huge. Also seeing that he has fixed a huge roster hole Gutey cuts Lowry and admits he was pre mature on the ext. (that was way to big from the jump). This d-line lets us play big up front so Hopefully we can stop the run. This will all make sense in the draft. One more signing should do it for the Defense.... Danny Trevathon ILB comes in start and give some vet experience next to the future at the position which is coming in the Draft (spoiler alert). Shorter deal as he approaches 30 but 2 years @ 4 mil a year. With the extensions that need to be made soon Gutey is done spending money. No WR is worth the money besides Cooper and we just don’t have the cash flow for that. THE DRAFT ROUND 1 Patrick Queen ILB LSU Our d-line allows us keep this kid clean and make plays. He will be the captain of this defense for 10 years. I am excited to have a freak in the middle finally. ROUND 2 Tyler Biadasz C WI pushes Patrick but this kid will be a stud for our o-line just a leader and great at the mental part of the game. C’s fall in the draft and we luck out get a future captain. ROUND 3 KJ Hill WR OHIO ST. Not the freak athlete but the kid just has it to play. My favorite WR in the draft but falls a little because ppl are looking for freaks. ARod will love this kid and how he run routes and catches everything. ROUND 4 Quartney Davis WR Texas A&M Gutey is building a hell of a WR core I think. Davis can be special and is showing up at the senior bowl but the depth of this class is pushing him to us and it’s perfect. Adams, Hill, Davis and Lazard is great. ROUND 5 Noah Igbinoghene CB Auburn Can never have enough CB’s I feel. We add depth and talent and maybe if King gets a huge pay day we are covered. ROUND 6a Adam Trautman TE Dayton Developmental TE to pair with our young room. I still have hope for Tonyan but I do have a feeling Jace blows up. That little move our the back end zone line in the NFC championship game was nice. But this kid is proving a quality prospect down at the senior bowl. ROUND 6b Shyheim Carter S Alabama Quality DB adds depth ROUND 7a: Chris Orr ILB WI adds a thump to the middle. Great blitzer but falls to us in a great spot. Great leader on and off the field as well. I think he can stick next to Queen in base packages. ROUND 7b Jauan Jennings WR Tennessee has the tools needs to put it together but we need to add as much talent to our WR room as possible. ROUND 7c Rodney Smith RB Minnesota reminds me of James White. Can hopefully stick very productive year rowing the boat.
  11. If we fire Pettine I vote for hiring Kris Richard. I don’t believe the Cowboys have given him a contract and from what I have read he is a leader and not afraid to get after his players. We need that we need fire. Been around a lot of great defenses.
  12. 13 and 3 is nothing to over look and it’s been a hell of a season. I don’t think we are done I think we can get to the ultimate prize and win the Super Bowl. But I also think this team needs more playmakers and speed. Let’s be honest maybe #12 has lost some magic. He needs help and speed. Adams and Jones are it and Lazard has been nice. TE is a black hole but the special ones are hard to find. I hope Tonyan can be that guy but I also don’t see a guy in the draft that gets me excited maybe the combine will shed some light on the prospects. Lets get going on the Offseason: LETS DO OUR GUYS FIRST: CUTS: Jimmy Graham Lane Taylor RESIGNS: Brian Buluga, Mason Crosby, Tramon Williams, Marcedes Lewis, Jared Veldheer, Danny Vitale, I Campbell, Will Redmond and Chandon Sullivan -Reasons: BB needs to come back hopefully on a 3 year deal. He has been great and stayed mostly healthy. But I also bring back Veldheer on a one year deal to give us a chance to recover if something bad happens. Crosby been money retires a packer. I love me the fullback and we need one. Lewis great blocker we need and locker room guy. Tramon is the glue back there and comes back cheap. Redmond and Sullivan are ERFA guys that I highlighted because they are key ones. All others are brought back to camp to fill the roster. One big guy gone is Blake. He wants way to much money and Gute stands his ground. RESTRUCTURE: Corey Lindsey -Keeps the line together and allows us to extend a main guy. EXTENSIONS: KENNY CLARK -Is this even a question WE NEED HIM FREE AGENTS Jordan Phillips, Randall Cobb and Jatavis Brown THE DRAFT: 1: Isaiah Simmons Hybrid ILB/Nickel S Clemson 2: Jalen Reagor WR TCU 3: Zach Baun OLB WI 4: Hakeen Adeniji G/T Kansas 5: Mustafa Johnson DL Colorado 6: Quintez Cephus WR WI 6: JR Reed S Georgia 7: Deommodore Lenior CB Oregon 7: Rodney Smith RB Minn 7: Sean McKeon TE Michigan
  13. I didn’t even know then yeah I don’t want him.... I might go Grady Jarrett and shaq Barrett together all pash rush
  14. Coaching: Head Coach- Josh Daniels Brings his own staff who knows who is on it. Free Agents: Grady Jarrett Tre Boston Shaquil Barrett Cut/Not Brought Back: Nick Perry Randall Cobb M. Wilkerson Tramon Williams Brought Back: Clay Matthews B. Breeland Restructure: Mason Crosby Brian Buluga Jimmy Graham THE DRAFT: 1: Jachai Polite OLB Florida Finally an athlete that can challenge the edge and win one on one blocks haven’t had that since early Clay. 1: Nasir Adderley S Delaware PLAYMAKER! Flying up draft boards and gives us that big play in the secondary and special teams. 2: Cody Ford OT Oklahoma Fights for RG and is Bugula replacement 3: Chris Lindstrom G Boston College Fights for RG and I hope he wins brings a nasty streak we need that we lost with Lang. 4: Kaden Smith TE Stanford 4: Issac Nauta TE Georgia Putting both TE together. He address a problem area with back to back picks. Jimmy stays for another year to help teach and we keep Tonyan. Gives us four good options this year and three going forward. In two years I love our TE. (Big fan of Stanford TE and Nauta is a former 5 star with big time potential) 5: Anthony-Ratliff Williams WR North Carolina Replaces Cobb in slot. Not the greatest athlete but former QB that can get open and hopefully be a PR 6: Khalil Hodge ILB Buffalo Special teamer and big time college tackler May have something to challenge Burks. 6: Jamal Peters CB Mississippi St. DEPTH. Injuries kill us. If healthy we have a great secondary. But with King out we struggle. But when King is healthy I believe we can play with anyone. A healthy three of King, Breeland and Alexander in slot is great. Jackson, Brown and Peters now round it out. 7: Anthony Nelson DT Iowa Love Iowa Lineman and fights for a spot
