  1. I didn’t dislike the pick last night. After sleeping on it, I like it even more. The bottom line is we lost to the Vikings in the playoffs because of the OG play. This allows us to start our best 5 offensive lineman. Also, when Armstead gets injured you’re not weakening your interior OL when Peat has to kick outside. We also save 7.5 mil of Warford is cut. That could be an option to sign a FA LB or WR. I still think we trade up into the second to take a guy we have rated highly. The three OL we have drafted in the first two rounds since hiring Ireland are Rammy, Peat, and McCoy. Not too shabby. Trust the process!!!
  2. Really clean format. Enjoyed the entire mock. Good Saints pick, as well.
  3. Positions work for me. Big fan of Hill, as well. This draft would make me happy
  4. I'd be happy with this. Good stuff
  5. Appreciate the input! Wish more posters would post their own mocks
  6. I’m talking strictly in terms of contracts. I think he thought he could get more on the open market.
  7. Seems like Mark Ingram all over again
  8. To me the gap between Queen and Murray doesn’t justify a trade up, and we’d have to give up two #1s to get Simmons
  9. In this scenario Queen is taken by the Raiders 19th overall.
  10. In this scenario I had Queen and Jefferson going 19 and 21 to the Raiders and Eagles. I debated between Terrell and someone like Jaylon Johnson, but Terrell made sense for the trade up if he began to slide.
  11. Round 1 Pick 24: Kenneth Murray [LB; Oklahoma] The Saints' addition of Emmanuel Sanders allows them to focus on defense with pick 24. Our NFC South rivals have all added talent to the offensive side of the ball this offseason, and we'll need to bolster our defensive unit in order to stay atop the division. Linebacker is at the top of the Saints' needs with the health concerns of Alex Anzalone and Kiko Alonso and the lack of depth behind them. Kenneth Murray's athleticism and range will benefit the Saints in the underneath passing game and give them a dynamic playmaker next to Demario Davis. *TRADE* Round 2 pick 50: A.J. Terrell [CB; Clemson] *Saints send picks 88, 170, and their 2nd round selection in 2021 for pick 50 The Saints are in "win-now" mode and cant take a chance on developmental prospects in the early rounds. Loomis makes a call to his old colleague, Ryan Pace, and snags one of the Bears' two second round selections. Terrell has experience on the biggest of stages at the collegiate level and can make an immediate impact in the Saints' secondary. At 6'1 195 lbs, Terrell has prototypical size to be a starting Corner in the NFL. Round 4 pick 130: Van Jefferson [WR; Florida] Thus far in his career, TreQuan Smith has been somewhat of a disappointment. Competetion and depth will help improve what was probably the Saints' weakest unit in 2019. Jefferson has experience against SEC defenses and his versatility allows him to line up and all over the formation. Round 6 pick 204; Kyle Murphy [OL; Rhode Island] You can never have too much depth in the trenches. Murphy had experience lining up at Center, Guard, and Tackle at Rhode Island.
  12. It’s true. Love it!!! Offense looks complete time to add to the defense
  13. Although we’ve never done it during the Payton era, this seems like a good year to trade back if Queen/Murray/Jefferson aren’t available at 24. You can still get a starting WR in the early second and there won’t be any CBs worth the 24th pick.
  14. “Source tells ESPN that Saints LB Kiko Alonso's base salary was reduced from $6.4 million to $1.7 million, with the other $4.7 million available via incentives. He already had a $1.45 million roster bonus in place.“
