  1. Titans extend Brett Kern

His personal winning streak that season was my favorite story. I think he started 11-0 or something ridiculous on two meh teams. Oh, and I was obviously happy to see this. The Kernel is a boss.
  2. Offseason Thread

I see your point, rage, but man, some bulk stats would sure be fun to watch for a change. There's something to be said for Mariota not proving he can do it in bulk the way that Stafford has. Most NFL fans wouldn't blink twice saying Stafford is clearly better than Mariota and I wouldn't argue with them. I do agree that some outlandish trade scenario involving the two wouldn't make sense for the Titans though for all the reasons you stated. We gotta go back to square one again if Mariota isn't going to be the guy. I love Marcus though. Obviously we just need to hope against hope that he finally stays healthy and Arthur Smith finally upgrades the passing offense into a legitimate threat. Then everything will be peachy.
  3. I wonder how hard Goodell is trying to find a way to suspend Silver for tampering with his own job.
  4. Arthur Smith promoted to OC

It's boring obviously, nothing flashy and nothing to get our imaginations ramped up. But naturally I see a lot of overreaction already in here. Chill boys, our flashy guy OC last year did arguably a worse job than Terry Robiskie. Maybe he'll work out nicely.
  5. 2019 NFL Draft/College Thread

I love Marcus, but man I'd be hyped. Everyone would be, lol.
  6. Matt LaFleur To Be Named GB Head Coach

This is a really bizarre reaction that a few people here are having. You guys really think it has anything to do with Mariota and how LaFleur feels about him? The Packers are an A+ level NFL franchise and a top destination for any head coach candidate. Did all the other guys they interviewed not believe in their QB or defense or whoever either? Would you turn down a promotion with more money and notoriety in your professional life because you just really believed in someone who worked under you? I'm not really sad about losing LaFleur, just bummed about losing the continuity, poor Marcus never catches a break. But LaFleur did sort of suck as a playcaller almost all year, boys. Could be a blessing in disguise.
  7. AFC South Discussion Thread

Yeah, I'm with you guys on this one. It goes beyond my irrational Titans fan hatred of all things Texans when it comes to why I don't like Watson. This dude is legitimately hard to root for with his constant showboating no matter the circumstances. It's different than how I hate someone like Luck for instance. I mean, I definitely do hate him (see: irrational Titans fan hatred), but he doesn't come across like a total tool. Luck seems like a pretty decent guy actually and I'd have no problem with him if he played in a different division. And if Mariota was taunting another team's sideline while we were being blown out, I'd be pretty upset. One, because it's classless and impossible to defend as a fan, and two, because it would 100% signal the end of the world.
  8. Dean Pees plans to return

It's kind of funny, everyone was super excited about LaFleur as OC and a good portion of fans were pretty bummed when Pees was named DC. He did a great job though, I'm really glad to have him back. Need him to start grooming a replacement soon, that'd be swell.
  9. AFC South Discussion Thread

Colts fans living the dream with back to back divisional road wins with both being essentially playoff games. Sigh, Gabbert.... At least Watson laid an egg. Mariota still has the playoff edge, baby!
  10. AFC South Discussion Thread

These ESPN announcers are just brutal, man. My goodness. On one hand, an epic Colts collapse would be hilarious. On the other hand, an epic Texans comeback would be disgusting... Hmm...
  11. Marcus Mariota: Is it Time ??

If anything that should hurt his accuracy numbers, makes it more predictable. Honestly considering the drops we've had on deep balls this year, it's pretty crazy he's tops in the league.
  12. Titans Pick'Em Competition - Week 17

Thank you, @TitanLegend, for hosting this whole contest! I'll just get my homer pick out of the way. I was going to be smart and wait for further Marcus news, but who am I kidding? Look at my name, I'm going Titans regardless. Colts - 20 Titans - 24
  13. The greatness of Saquon Barkley

How does Henry devalue its merit if Chubb being 4th is cool? Henry has more yards, more TD's, averages 5+ YPC, and I'm pretty sure he leads the league in yards after contact by a decent amount. Same can be said for Henry compared to Gordon, actually.
  14. Titans Pick'Em Competition - Week 16

    Let's get it. Redskins - 10 Titans - 23
  15. Around the NFL

Yeah, there are some comparisons there but personality wise we're pretty different than them. I think that comes from the coaching staffs probably. I'd also like to think we're a bit better than them, we did dominate them in their house after all. I don't really see that much similarity between Dak and Marcus either. And of course, the Cowboys are the most talked about team in the league media wise where as most "experts" probably don't know we exist. I also can't stand Cowboys fans so that's probably why I don't want to agree with it, hahaha.
