Just imagine a mime good enough to make it on the field in an NFL game. Doesn't that seem terrifying as an opponent? Like wtf might be going on out here.
If I saw a guy who looked like he was stuck in a box, I might just hand him the football.

Are you suggesting Gute won't actually be able to trade back a dozen times, still get many of his guys in 2024, while also stockpiling several high picks for 2025?
Don’t forget whilst also trading for Antoine Winfield Jr.

Small defense (very small because that is some putrid tape overall): That first snap he clearly missed the snap count.

More people should be more optimistic about AJJ.
I’m an AJJ skeptic. His tackling last year made Savage look like Nitschke in comparison.

Dafuq is a DI?
Daring Interceptor?
Dear NFL, can we start the draft tomorrow? Kthxbye

Sounds like Christian got married. I hope he made it down the aisle without ripping a hammie.
Down the aisle, yes, but can he make it through the honeymoon?

why.
Well there are 3 ways it could go:
1) he gets better
2) he stays the exact same
3) he gets worse
I think it is fair to discount 2). Between 1) and 3), I have reason to believe that spending a year in the league will give one the experience to improve. Seems logical and reasonable to assume. Are you trying to say a year in the league will make him worse somehow? Or he will be *exactly* the same?

36 of 38 last year in XPs. Guess it just depends on the year.
The thing people are missing is that Anders will undoubtedly improve this year. The question is, how much? Vikings have not exactly been a hotbed for kickers recently so it’s a bit worrisome that they just let him leave.

It would be hard for me to fathom a more boring event than attending an NFL draft live.

Would like to see us get Rudy Ford back. Would be a nice backup if we draft a starter or could start if the rookie doesn’t appear ready at season start.

I feel like this guy is full of **** half the time, but it would be great to have a healthy Watson for 14-16 games this year. Would be like adding a new player basically.
The problem may be that “the program” he mentions probably starts with “don’t play professional football…”

I've heard of no interest in Bak after we released him. Is he not healthy enough to sign yet? It would not surprise me if the Bears came after him.
He was on W&T yesterday and he sounded far less sure that the knee would be OK for football than his tweeting would indicate. It sounds like his “walking around” pain is far less, but he’s “hopeful” he will be cleared to play in a few months (weeks? maybe, I can’t remember exactly—more than days) Would think he’d have to be at that stage before someone would actually consider signing him.

Cool, so AJD gets some dough and it doesn’t count agains the cap. Nice.

What’s his RAS tho?

So do all the incentives get pushed to the next year, cap-wise?

Yeah, the NFLPA might be shooting themselves in the foot with these. If I’m an owner who cares about winning, I’d look at these and be hard pressed to see a reason to open my pocketbook to improve anything.

Yep need to see it on the field but think his harping on making things easy for players is a great thing. More important than any particular “scheme”.

I've always thought it was odd that they released the wonderlic scores.
But not odd that they film the combine where players are basically running around in their underwear undergoing physical challenges?

Like the one reason to take the ball in overtime in the postseason is "your defense was just on the field for a long time and they need a rest." So the 49ers taking the ball makes some sense.
Well, Shanahans explanation is actually another reason. It is a big deal to be the team with the 3rd possession. Is it as important as knowing what you need in the 2nd possession (based on what the other team did with the 1st possession)? It turned out not to be in this game, but it won’t always be so.
Who are your 'my guys' in this draft ?

That Yale OT (I’m not gonna learn how to spell his name unless we draft him)
