2022 Super Wildcard Weekend: (3) Vikings vs (6) Giants
Bolts223 replied to NYRaider's topic in NFL General
I feel like the Vikings are going to be extra motivated to shut up all the doubters. Vikings win 24-17. -

Bills roll over the Dolphins. Bills win 38-16. -
2022 Super Wildcard Weekend: (3) Bengals vs (6) Ravens
Bolts223 replied to NYRaider's topic in NFL General
If Lamar plays this game is pretty close to a toss-up tbh. I still lean ever so slightly towards the Bengals. Bengals win 31-27 if Lamar plays. Bengals win by more if he doesn't. -
2022 Super Wildcard Weekend: (2) 49ers vs (7) Seahawks
Bolts223 replied to Manny/Patrick's topic in NFL General
49ers have looked mostly unstoppable lately, but I think the Seahawks make this a mildly competitive game. Divisional rivalry, familiarity and all. 49ers win 31-20. -
2022 Super Wildcard Weekend: (4) Buccaneers vs (5) Cowboys
Bolts223 replied to NYRaider's topic in NFL General
Despite the fact that the Cowboys are the better team by just about every metric, I cannot pick against Brady at home in the playoffs against a team known for choking in the playoffs. Bucs 23-20 -

Do you want the Texans to hire Harbaugh? I feel like the Texans have so much draft capital that someone who knows what they are doing could very quickly rebuild the team. But they'd also have to deal with the McNair family I guess.

Nah.

The NFL tried to get rid of the Bye for the 2-seed, but Tomlin and the Steelers told the NFL no.

Lions vs Jaguars - Which team has the brighter future?
Bolts223 replied to Soko's topic in NFL General
The Jaguars seem to have the brighter just because they seem to have their long term answer at the QB position right now. I'm also pretty high on Doug Pederson as a coach there. That isn't to mention that they play in what most people would consider the weakest division in the NFL from year to year. (Although I guess that can change) Lions have a better core of young talent. But that won't matter unless they figure out what their long term answer at QB is. -
Bigger disappointment: Derek Carr or Carson Wentz
Bolts223 replied to biggie.'s topic in NFL Comparisons
Wentz and it's not even close. Carr has had a pretty solid overall career considering he was a second rounder and has been an average-above average starter fairly consistently for about a decade. Wentz was a 2nd overall pick and has had an objectively worse career than Carr has. (Although I guess you can say he had a higher peak) -
MNF Week 17: Buffalo Bills @ Cincinnati Bengals
Bolts223 replied to notthatbluestuff's topic in NFL General
I think the problem I'm seeing is no solution to this problem is going to be "Fair." So people just need to realize that and deal with it. -
MNF Week 17: Buffalo Bills @ Cincinnati Bengals

You can’t restart this game. How can you ask either team to play after that? -
I very much doubt Staley is gone this year, especially after the last month.
-
He’s likely going to be the top head coaching candidate on the market this offseason. Where do you guys think he ends up?
-
I’m not going to bother doing playoff predictions, as I believe that predicting more than one round at a time is kind of pointless. But here is how I think the seeding will go down. NFC 1) Bills (14-3-0) 2) Chiefs (14-3-0) 3) Bengals (12-5-0) 4) Jaguars (9-8-0) 5) Chargers (11-6-0) 6) Ravens (10-7-0) 7) Steelers (9-8-0) NFC 1) Eagles (14-3-0) 2) 49ers (13-4-0) 3) Vikings (13-4-0) 4) Buccaneers (9-8-0) 5) Cowboys (13-4-0) 6) Giants (9-7-1) 7) Packers (9-8-0)

Are we not also one of the hottest teams in the league? Lol. I guess you can argue that we weren’t at the time we played Miami, but that was the start of our 4-game win streak. I agree that the Dolphins were a pretty brutal collapse this year any way you cut it though.
