  1. More hardware for Baker

Screw Barkley! His team finished with 5 wins, and the QB is the most important position on the team!
  2. Browns have 30-1 odds of going to 2020 Superbowl

Don't know about the first two, but Gruden won his SB with Tony Dungy's players.
  3. I agree! I had a job that I described as "the best of my life" until the company changed managers! My old manager was one of the smartest people I have ever met in my life, yet his ego wasn't so large that he always had to be "the smartest guy in the room"! He left, and the company replaced him with a guy who was the exact opposite! I knew more about the business than he did, and I couldn't stand how he would spout nonsense in front of the team! Eventually, I had to leave before I punched this guy into oblivion and ruined my work record! There's a lot of comfort working with people who know what they are doing!
  4. Tracking Baker Mayfield VS. Sam Darnold's 1st Yr Play

No, no! Everybody knows what Cowturd said! And as I wrote in my previous post, it's a "local" guy to the Youngstown area. He ranked Darnold #1 and Mayfield #2 pre-draft. Maintains that he is not a "Baker hater", but seems to come off like one at times. But like Mista Bohmbastic said, this guy says much the same. You can't judge by one year. Let's see him do it a second time, and then a third. Then you know you have something. For my money, I think Baker will do exactly that! He is ultra competitive, knows the game, bonds with his teammates, and his teammates love him for it! Darnold might turn out to be a great QB, but I'm still glad that he's there and Baker's here! Combined with the new Browns front office, who seem to actually know something about pro football, I see nothing but sunshine in the future!
  5. Is it September 2019 yet???

I getcha! Considering what Kitchens said about people being happy about going 7-8-1, I'll say that I'm one of those! I'm happy with the improvement, but I'm not satisfied! I want a Super Bowl! This off season is going to be crucial to how much the Browns progress this year.
  6. Fine by me. I like the Whopper. Not particularly fond of their fries though!
  7. What Are Your Final Thoughts On Hue Jackson?

OMG! That is fantastic! Seemed to summarize my feeling about Hue quite well!
  8. Is it September 2019 yet???

Come on! There's a a lot to be thought about and enjoyed coming up. Free agency, the draft. Slow down people! It's a journey, not just a destination. The Browns have a fair amount of money to spend, and a decent draft spot. I think they can make some hay in both modes. The Browns have become a hot franchise. Let's enjoy this!
  9. Tracking Baker Mayfield VS. Sam Darnold's 1st Yr Play

Pastabilities? What's next, a lasagna? I read the first page, and the last page, and I can't make sense of any of this! Too much "inside" stuff I guess! Anyway, there's a local radio screamer who maintains that while Baker showed out in his rookie class, he'd still have drafted Sam Darnold! Says he will wind up to be the better QB! I don't know about that. Heard a lot of hype about sunny SoCal QB's in the recent past who never amounted to much.
  10. Serious thread: Freddie for HC

I agree! This team still has a lot of holes, and there were more times I was unhappy with the D than I was with the O. I sometimes wondered if the Browns had any LB's on the field! The tackling was abysmal. And look at what the Chargers did to the Ravens. They made Jackson look like he was playing in his first game! That's next level talent!
  11. THE QUEST FOR THE DC/OC Beginneth!

Kitchens certainly was hot news on the radio today! Along with Stefanski. Looks like the above is what's working out. I have heard that Dorsey still wants Kitchens calling the plays. We'll have to see how that sits with Stefanski. Hmmm, Stefanski. Must be good Polish boy. Like one Wayne Woodrow (Woody) Hayes said a long time ago at TOSU, "I never knew a Polish boy who didn't work his butt off!"
  12. Sorry! Sometimes it's hard to read sarcasm in print.
  13. I'm not saying Schoebert is the second coming of Butkus, but the overall LB play went up a tick when he came back from injury. I think the whole "back 7" needs tackling lessons! I can't remember how many times I saw a LB or DB just bump a guy with a shoulder and seem to expect them to fall helpless to the ground! Learn how to tackle! Learn to wrap up! Collins looks like he's coasting to me, and Kirksey just doesn't have any speed. I saw a lot of dudes just run away from him. Look, as happy as Browns fans are with this last season, this team still has a lot of needs! They have some decent starting talent, but they are what I call "a mile wide and a foot deep". They need better talent in a lot of areas. Just watch the playoffs. It's a different brand of football, and if you want to play there you'd better have playoff level talent!
  14. HUH?! How do you know that? Take that attitude and extend it far enough and Hue is still the HC! See below for additional clarification! There's a local radio sports guy who knows a couple of radio guys in Arizona who cover the Cardinals. They told him that they went to a bar and did shots of Jaeger and beers when Amos was let go! They rejoiced!
