In that scenario, we need to draft McKinstry!! Sauce and Kool-aid holding down the secondary!!! Best nicknames in the league.

Dream scenario would be to trade back, grab OL depth/insurance, pick up a second rounder and have Penix still on the board when we pick. Long shot but that would be fantastic.

Our luck we swap the Mr. Irrelevant pick and it turns out to be the next Brock Purdy.

Eagles just picked up Kenny Pickett for a pick swap and a 2025 7th! One, we’re not getting anything for Zach. Two, that would have been a nice move for us. Let Pickett be the one sitting and learning behind Rodgers. I know he’s not great by any means but would have been worth a shot.

Cimini thinks we may have up to $24 million in cap space after Moseley extension / restructuring. Maybe we got another move in mind.

Thoughts on Hunter Renfrow or KJ Osborne? Believe they’re both available and may not cost that much. I actually like Osborne. Stepped up when Jefferson got hurt. Renfrow would be that pain in the *** slot guy that usually kills us.

Crazy to me that about a year ago, our WR room was Wilson, Corey Davis, Lazard, Elijah Moore, Hardmen and Cobb. What the hell happened?!?!

Guess we’re sitting out wave one. Hopefully we get a few bargains after the dust settles.

I’d be fine with a WR or o-line help but why are you convinced they’ll help Rodger’s with their first rounder. That wasn’t the plan last year when they drafted McDonald. How was that for resource management?

I’m pretty sure this isn’t going to happen because everyone is trying to keep their jobs, but is taking a QB in round one a possibility? If we somehow win this meaningless game today we could drop all the way down to 12 in the draft. I’d be tempted to trade down or take a McCarthy or Penix ( who are projected as mid first rounders). Rodgers kept saying before the season that the plan was to play a few more years and turn the team over to Zach. We know that’s not happening. So why not stick to that plan with McCarthy, Penix or even Bo Nix. Use FA and your other picks for the present but let’s get that QB of the future in the system and let them sit. Again probably a longshot but I would like to see it.

You know wherever we pick, it going to be another DL and we’re all going to lose our minds.

We’re going to lose to a team that hasn’t thrown a pass in the second half. Embarrassing on a whole other level.

One step forward two steps back

If this season is a disaster, what do we do with the coaching staff and our first round pick? Rodgers is gonna want to run it back and he’ll want our draft pick to help him win a Super Bowl. So do we keep Salah and Hack and maybe pass up Caleb Williams or Drake Maye to draft an OT? The Rodgers injury is such a disaster on so many levels. My opinion is that they’re ready to write off the entire year and just put all the eggs in the same basket. It’s really a no win, Rodgers or bust. I didn’t expect to be talking draft and off-season in week three but here we are!! Gotta love being a Jets fan

How bad must Tim Boyle look in practice ?

I get people thinking McDonskd was a reach because he might not get a ton of playing time off the bat. But if we had taken Tippman at 15 (who has a great chance to start at a position of need) and McDonald at 43 how would you guys view the draft. Same players but different order. Different? Same?
