Ok but why do we need to let the owners of Aetna and bcbs, and the rest profit? Without going to socialized health-care, we could cut insurance costs drastically just by creating "non-profit" versions of these companies. For example, Bill gates could afford to create a competing health insurance company and absolutely destroy his competitors market share by just pricing the service at cost. So why shouldn't we just do that as a country?

Why are you worried about the distinction between capitalism and communism and not just worried about what makes this a better country for 320 million Americans vs a few 10,000 people?

How does that make sense? If they weren't making that money, then someone else would keep it and they would either spend that money, which would be taxed, or keep it, in which case we could raise taxes on other things. Those regular people also wouldn't be keeping their money in tax havens off shore. Try again.

Yeah, Insurance is a joke in America, and I don't see why we should allow companies to profit off of it.

How can they legally charge one price to you in cash but a different price for insurance? Did you ask them that? They should have charged your insurance $250 and you would have then likely paid nothing.

Explain to me why that would make sense? Give me a logical reason how they could charge someone x amount of dollars for something but if they have insurance, they have to pay 10x for it even after their insurance covers part of it?

It's impossible for them to charge you more for having insurance than it would have cost total without insurance. Like how does that even make sense to you? If that even did happen you could have told them to not bill your insurance, you have the right to pay out of pocket yourself for anything you want, even if you do have insurance.

This thread moved fast over night so I don't know if this is has been said, but Alex smith for $23.5M a year is terrible compared to Kirk Cousins for $28M a year. So either the Redskins Ownership just didn't want to sign Kirk for personal reasons, or they new Kirk would never sign with them no matter what.

So Dragonball FighterZ is getting some good reviews. I've never been into fighting games but I like it so far, really good graphics, lags a bit on an xbox one S during loading screens though and takes awhile.

I want Joey porter, carnell lake, and Keith butler all fired cause our defense does suck. But Haley was also garbage and it has nothing to do with how the season ended. It's not "just a prank" to get a swat team to kick in somebodies door. And intent of harm doesn't matter imo. A drunk driver almost never means to kill a a whole family but that happens all the time and these people should be put away for it.

It's not like Swat teams don't "accidentally" kill people every once in awhile. Swatting = attempted murder imo.
