Cowboys trade for Rams WR Tavon Austin

Recommended Posts

I...don't know that I like this. He isn't really much of an improvement over what's already here. For a 6th though...eh, guess it's not terrible.

Do the Cowboys like to run the jet sweep a lot?

Think we're about to see a very different Cowboy offense in 2018

Hmmmmmmmmmm interesting. Was it our 6th or was it one of the conditionals?

I’m thinking we gonna see a lot more spread offense. 4-5 WR sets

It was #192, one we got from Oakland.

Strange pick up, but I don't necessarily hate it. Just strange. $1m base salary.

I really like the trade. Austin should inject some speed into this offense and stretch the field. He can still play special teams also.

If we’re transitioning to more of a run based, spread offense, then Austin makes a lot of sense because it creates openings for those pygmie slot guys.

Yep. RPOs All day! I have always been a fan of Tavon Austin, just not as a number 1, which is was the intentions when he was drafted by the Rams.
