Carlson Is Mr. Wrong After He Misses Right (waived pg. 17)

Priefer has to take much of the blame. It’s not like Spielman is drafting a kicker at all if Priefer wants to keep Forbath. It’s not like he’s trading up for Carlson if Priefer doesn’t do a private workout with him and pound the table that that’s his guy.

Locke was Priefer’s guy. And Walsh.

Spielman bases a lot of his opinion on Priefer working these kickers out.  This makes 3 specialists we have drafted thanks to Priefer that hasn't worked out.  It is easy to blame Carlson but he is simply a symptom at this point.  Time to kill the disease.

thank you. this is what i said a couple of weeks back - why does Priefer never take the blame/responsibility for any special teams woes?

Rarely is ever has a kicker been trending on Twitter without even attempting a kick. But with so many kickers missing kicks on Sunday and with former Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey available, his name has been near the top of the stack for the last few hours.

So what’s next for Bailey? Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Bailey is waiting for the “right team.” He has, per the source, turned down four “very good offers,” and more calls have been made to his agent based on Sunday’s outcomes.
