jetskid007
The Maccagnan/Bowles regime's parting gift: DL Folorunso Fatukasi (a.k.a. Kris Jenkins 2.0.) Overview: Foley has seen his playing time go up every since Leo was traded. He's still considered a part time player, but the Jets use him at all over the line. The tape and analytics both agree that this is a player who's raw athletic talent is beginning to transfer into positive play on the field - largely do to terrific body control and raw strength. Although it's too early to tell if he can become an "every down" defender, this 24 year old clearly has the looks of a dominant run stopping DL with some upside as a "play disrupter". The stats haven't done him justice- if you look at the clips above, there have been times where he has literally pushed his assignment back 3-5 yards right into the RB, but wasn't credited with the TFL or stuff, which is why the eye test and the analytics are important in evaluating him. Stats: 7 games played 18 tackles (10 solo) 5 TFL 1 QB hit The Measurables (using Kris Jenkins as a comparison): Jenkins: Ht Wt Arm length Hand size 40-yard dash 10-yd split 20-yd split 20-ss 3-cone Vert jump Broad BP 6 ft 4 7⁄8 in 316 lb 32 in 9 3⁄4 in 5.19 s 1.75 s 3.06 s 4.41 s 7.86 s 31 in 9 ft 0 in 33 reps Fatukasi: Ht Wt Arm length Hand size 40-yard dash 10-yd split 20-yd split 20-ss 3-cone Vert jump Broad BP 6 ft 3 3⁄4 in 318 lb 34 1⁄2 in 10 1⁄4 in 5.29 s 1.75 s 2.94 s 4.53 s 7.44 s 30 in 9 ft 4 in 33 reps Playing Time: Total Snaps: 209 (Run: 108, Pass: 100, Cov: 1) Game 1: Inactive Game 2: 33% Game 3: 29% Game 4: Inactive Game 5: 40% Game 6: 39% Game 7: 54% Game 8: 58% Game 9: 29% Grades: 89.6 overall grade on PFF (#7 overall) - elite 90.5 run defense grade on PFF (#2 overall) - elite 64.9 pass defense grade on PFF - slightly above average

ekill08x
Well we are deep at DT. Would be smart to allocate resources.

We have 3-4 guys that can start and that have our played him. We could be used to strengthen any other of our many deficiencies.
xrade
Man, he is just strong at the point of attack. I love seeing him swat linemen away like they were flies. I realize the Giants are not exactly a strong OL unit, but if our front 4 plays like they did on Sunday, we are set for a while. Now lets get an edge and CB (after OL of course).
xrade
By the way, can we nickname him Foley Fats or is that offensive?
Bobby816
I believe we're 2nd in the NFL against the run. So clearly we're stout there. But I think we are like 26th or something against the pass and our offense just doesn't score points.

We drafted a 5-tech in round 3, we traded down and traded for another 5-tech than draft yet another. WTF is this guy doing. If Leonard Williams, Jamal Adams or Sam Darnold didn’t fall to Mac he would literally have absolutely NOTHING to show for his drafts. If Macc, ran a company in China like he did with the Jets, he would be put up against a wall and shot. What he did to the Jets and their fan is nothing more than a crime.
