Every time I hit enter it starts a new paragraph.  How do I go to the next line instead?

Use Shift+Enter on desktop.   I'm looking into this feature on mobile.

Is there a mobile app?

No.  This forum software automatically adjusts to a responsive mobile design on smaller screens. 

My tablet or phone is not showing the mobile site?

The system uses browser size to determine what kind of experience to serve the user.    On larger screens it will show the normal forum in landscape view.  Flip your phone or tablet to portrait view.

Where are the signatures?

You have to enable signatures to view sigs.  You can turn off/on sigs for all members or individual members.  Signatures are hidden on mobile browsers to improve performance.  

Is there a way to go to the first unread post in a thread?

Yes. Click the blue star to go to the first unread message in a thread you've posted in.  A blue circle takes you to the first unread post in a thread you haven't posted in.

Can we have a drop down menu like the old one to jump between forums?

It currently isn't an option with this forum software.  It's also an old feature that isn't really necessary on this forum.  With the ability to follow forums and set up activity streams, you can see all the topics for the forums you follow on one page.  

How can I tell who the forum moderators are?

At the top of the page you'll see a link that says "Staff." Click it and under the moderator names you'll see what forums they moderate.

I clicked on the popup notification and the notification icon didn't reset to 0.

You have to click on the notification icon to view and reset the notifications.  Clicking the popup notification will only take you to the post.  it will not clear the notification icon.

I'm having some problems with an advertisement.   

Please remember that our sponsors cover the costs of running this forum.  Without ads there wouldn't be a forum.   We will try to make the ads as unobtrusive as possible.  You should not see any kind of app redirects, downloads or other invasive or obnoxious ads.  Ads should not cover the content or break the layout.  If an ad is doing this on your browser, it is due to a technical issue with the advertisement or a problem with your browser, computer, or phone.   Try rebooting your computer or phone to see if that solves the issue.   If that doesn't work send me a PM and I will look into it.  Do not discuss the ads on the forum.  

I want to change my username, should I just register a new name? 

At some point in the future, I may allow veteran members a one-time name change without the need to re-register.  I'm still deciding on the best way to do this.   Please do not PM me asking to change your username.    I will post more information when/if this option is available.  

What is going to happen to all the old posts?

The old forum will be kept as a read-only archive.  You can read the old posts at anytime by clicking on the 'Archive' link in the new forum menu.  If there is an active topic you would like to bring over to the new forum, feel free to copy and paste content from a topic on the old forum to the new one.  

I'm a new member. Why can't I like posts? Why can't I post anymore today?

To prevent spammers and trolls new members can only make 20 posts per day.  They also can't like posts and have a few other restrictions on their accounts.   New members will become regular members after a week or two of regular contributions, if they don't spam or cause any problems.  

Why can't I like posts anymore, it was just working and now it doesn't allow me to like posts?

Veteran members can only like 20 posts per day. 

Why doesn't my old username work on this forum?

Your password for the old forum will not work on the new forum. You should have received an email with account login information for the new forum. If you didn't receive that email, please go here:  http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=589383

Aha ! I was hunting here to find why I couldn't 'like' a post, since someone else liked mine.

Rookie rules is the answer. I just need to wait a week or two. Thanks for including that in the faq.

I'm a new member and just noticed there is no way for me to start a new thread.  Is this one of the restrictions on new members?  If not, how do you go about starting a new thread?  Thanks!

Correct.  There are certain restrictions posted on "New Members".  Continue to post, and you'll eventually get moved into the "Member" group and those restrictions will be removed.

Why have no set time protocols been been established for new members to transition to a full member ?  "eventually" sounds too much like we will deal with you when we feel like it.  Is it a week, or 10 days or 2 weeks or a combination of accepted post + a set time period.   Why are there no set rules that members can follow ?

There is a set protocol.  We just don't state publicly what it is to prevent spammers from gaming the system.

Not sure who to ask or tag in this. But, I'm doing a dynasty on the video game section. I want to add a table I was able to use from operation sports. I'm not sure what I need to do on here in order to post it. From them, the code looks like this
