I'd freak out on people who said Citizen Kane was crap, I'd watch all the pretentious movies and pay attention to who won Palme D'ors. Then I got about halfway through the 1,001 movies you have to see before you died list and realized that pretentious drivel is pretentious drivel and a movie ain't crap if it's not entertaining. 2001: A Space Odyssey may be the least entertaining movie I've ever watched.
