Sounds like we’re reaching from “they won’t go anywhere with Bortles” when they almost went to the SB, played well outside their division, etc. Just adding lots of parameters and all. They won’t go anywhere with Bortles....well if other teams stay healthy. And if they play tough teams outside the division. And if they do this or that. From a '17 perspective, they had an excellent season and congrats to them. However from an '18 perspective, they face a much much tougher challenge. The remaining three AFC South teams should see an improvement even the Titans while Mariota did stay healthy, everyone who watched that team was bewildered watching a Demarco Murray run play for 2-3 yards every 1st and 2nd down while they had so much talent they weren't using. This new offensive staff is going to let Mariota, Henry and other loose in a system fit for them and they're going to surprise. Not only the division, they have a ton of tough non-divisional teams in the first half of the season. I'm not quite sure if they can repeat their success. If they win the division again in '18 especially if Luck is back then congrats to them because overcoming Luck/Watson/Mariota-led teams would be an amazing feat. SteelKing728
If you asked fans from every single team what they think their season would be, you would conclude that every team in the league improved this offseason, that the team is at worst going 10-6 and at worst making the wildcard playoffs. Jimmy Austin
The NFC has been wide open the last few years. Since 2015 there has been a new division winner in every division in that conference and the Minnesota Vikings are the only team to win their division more than once in that time period. 5/6 2016 playoff teams missed the playoffs last year and perhaps we see that again this year? I know PHI, LAR, and MIN are the favs to represent the NFC in the SB but they are not locks. Be interesting to see who the 6 playoff teams will be this year. And they only won 10 games out of it and they developed the best defense in the league, and they got to draft a very talented rb at what, 4? and they made some oline signings. Jags should be the favorites to win that division.

You realize you have the Chiefs with 1 start Mahomes at 12-4 in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL, yet the Raiders, who's quarterback is coming off an injured season with arguably the worst offensive coordinator in the league is going to go 4-12 with a coach known for getting the most out of his qb situation... You realize with a career year from Alex Smith last year, they went 10-6, but this year they'll win 2 more games with Mahomes? I still remember you being skeptical about Carr, but cmon man. You have us winning 2 fewer games with a schedule that is 4th easiest in the NFL... The 0-16 Browns and Jets, who we absolutely hammered last year and us have basically the same record. I'd love a legitimate reason for this.

I'd love a legitimate reason for this. I just did the simulator and posted the results. I guess subconsciously, without giving it too much thought, I liked Chiefs in their games more than I like the Raiders in theirs. Oakland feels like a much more unstable situation than KC, even with the QB change. It's not that I'm down on their chances, I just literally haven't got a clue what to expect from them this year with all the change and I guess that played into my game by game prediction. Fair enough. I dunno though man, 4-12 is brutal for a team that actually has talent and a qb on the roster.
