And that's fair.  Even I am quite unhappy that DQ didn't immediately cut ties with Sark after the conclusion of the Falcons season last year, but don't forget that the offense actually played very well in most aspects last season.  They just failed to score as many points as they should have.  The Falcons offense finished 8th in yards, 9th in DVOA, they lead the NFL in 3rd down percentage, were 9th in first downs, and 9th in 3rd down conversions.  When you consider that Atlanta was 5th in dropped passes (at least 5 of which were directly intercepted) its easy to see that despite all the issues they were still a top-10 offense last year, and most of the problems they had are easily correctable.  Their defense played well as well, but they didn't force nearly enough TO's so that also lead to fewer opportunities for the offense to score than they will likely get this year.

See what I mean?

My AFC playoff teams were Pats, Steelers, Texans, Chargers, Chiefs. 5/6

NFC playoff teams were Saints, Rams, Giants, Packers, Vikings, Eagles. 3/6

I hugely underestimated the Colts. Had them at 5-11.

Overestimated the Cardinals, had them 7-9 same as Seahawks who did better than I thought.

Had the Bolts winning the division at 11-5, instead we go 12-4 and run 2nd. ¬¬

Any particular reason for this? You realize you have the Chiefs with 1 start Mahomes at 12-4 in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL, yet the Raiders, who's quarterback is coming off an injured season with arguably the worst offensive coordinator in the league is going to go 4-12 with a coach known for getting the most out of his qb situation... You realize with a career year from Alex Smith last year, they went 10-6, but this year they'll win 2 more games with Mahomes?

I still remember you being skeptical about Carr, but cmon man. You have us winning 2 fewer games with a schedule that is 4th easiest in the NFL...

The 0-16 Browns and Jets, who we absolutely hammered last year and us have basically the same record.

I'd love a legitimate reason for this.

This. Is. Solid. Gold.
