The Giants go worse to first and win the super bowl. Eli wins the game on a final drive where OBJ catches the ball in between one finger and the defenders shoulder pad.

The Patriots don't win the AFC East.

Andrew Luck doesn't play a game this year.

something wild happens that causes everyone to question the new catch rule.

Is that really that bold at this point though? He hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2016 and he hasn’t even started throwing a football yet. I think the bold statement would be actually seeing Luck return.

I agree. Luck cant be trusted. I think its a better chance he doesnt ever play again than he makes a pro bowl

Patched together unevenly on defense by money obsessed players and aging veterans, as well as limited improvements on offense, the Rams come crashing down to reality from high expectations after a great 2017 season. Rams finish last in NFC West. The struggle is real. Welcome to the NFL, Sean McVay. The other LA team prevails in it's western division.

NFC West

1. 49ers/2. Seahawks/3. Cardinals/4. Rams

AFC West

1. Chargers/2. Broncos/3. Raiders/4. Chiefs

Maan I would love to put money against that bet. The Cardinals aren't anywhere near as talented to fall to enough wins to beat out the Rams. Seahawks are more likely to bottom diving than L.A

On top of that, the Seahawks have a more productive offense than the Rams in 2018.

Gonna go by each division:

AFC North: Browns end up winning four division games (1x Steelers, 2x Bengals, 1x Ravens) on their way to a 5-11 record. Baker Mayfield doesn't play a single down, Lamar Jackson starts by week 6. The Bengals go a league worse 1-15; At the end of the season, Marvin Lewis is promoted to GM and starts his search for a new HC to take on his old role. Cincinnati is primed to select Drew Lock with the #1 pick in the draft. Steelers run Le'Veon Bell into the ground with close to 400 carries, but are rewarded with a 12-4 record and 1st round bye.

AFC South: Texans and Jags are both 9-6 going into their week 17 matchup, winner wins division. Titans go 2-14 and Mike Vrabel is fired after his one season as HC. Andrew Luck starts his first game week six vs the Jets and throws 15 passes in the loss. He's shortly put on IR after his appearance.

AFC East: The Jets come out blazing, going undefeated through week 8. Sam Darnold is the runaway ROY as he throws for 44 TDs to 18 INTs, as the Jets secure a wildcard with a 12-4 record and play an away game against the AFC South/10-6 winner. Brady locks up his legacy by leading the Pats to 15 straight wins after an 0-1 start to the season.

AFC West: The Chargers lose Phillip Rivers in the off-season with a knee injury, prompting a trade for Nick Foles; Foles shows why he's a backup, getting benched for Cardale Jones by week 7. Pat Mahomes shows off his elusiveness and uncanny arm strength as he throws for 4,800 yards and 36 TDs and is a popular choice in the MVP race. The Raiders finish 8-8, and Jon Gruden is named Coach of the Year. Broncos go 5-11 with a rotation of Case Keenum and Paxton Lynch as QB.

NFC North: The Chicago Bears ride to a 12-4 season behind the efforts of NFL MVP Mitch Trubisky. Kirk Cousins puts up a good season for the Vikings and leads them into the Wildcard. Aaron Rodgers suffers a season ending lisfranc injury, but DeShone Kizer proves to be an adept backup and leads the Pack to the 2nd WC.

NFC South: Can Newton and ROY runner up DJ Moore slash through the NFC South, leaving the rest of the division in the rearview mirror with a 13-3 record. In a stunning move, Tampa Bay cuts Jameis Winston following the 2018 season. Drew Brees announces his retirement at the end of a 7-9 season. The Falcons also fall to 7-9, but Matt Ryan throws for an unheard of 5,700 yards.

NFC East: The Eagles look to defend their title, and cruise to a 12-4 Record with Carson Wentz looking like an NFL MVP candidate. The Giants start off 2-8 before Kyle Lauletta starts and wins his final six starts. The Cowboys and Redskins are in a dogfight with the Packers for the #2 WC, but both fall short.

NFC West: Josh Rosen wins the starting job out of Cardinals camp and leads the Cardinals to a 10-6 record, good enough for the division. The Rams defense takes a step backwards, but still ends up 10-6 (losing both games to Arizona, so tie goes to Cardinals). Russell Wilson starts all 16 games in a 3-13 campaign; Pete Carroll is fired and Wilson starts to openly campaign for a trade. San Francisco starts 9-1, but loses six in a row to fall out of contention late in the season.
