killdawabbit
Some random pro player comps just because they are pointless, somewhat subjective, and mildly annoying: Cody Ford - Shawn Andrews Nick Bosa - Chris Long Brian Burns - The Freak Dwayne Haskins - Matt Stafford Kyler Murray - Better Johnny Manziel Parris Campbell - Percy Harvin Mecole Hardman - Tyreek Hill Lite Damien Harris - Alfred Morris Devin Singletary - Brian Westbrook Lite Justice Hill - Lorenzo Booker Bruce Anderson - Alvin Kamara Lite Tyree Jackson - Really raw Cam Newton Devine Ozigbo - Chris "Beanie" Wells minus the Charmin

I mean Eagles could use depth and future at both EDGE and DT, maybe he is the kind of guy you just draft and figure out what he does best. Or.........he could bust This is what concerns me about him. Not only is he a bit of a tweener, but his effort has been questionable at times. 3 hours ago, Danger said: I don't honestly feel like Campbell or Winovich are as good as their increasing hype would suggest right now. Henderson I could see some team maybe falling in love with and taking in the 2nd. I actually do. I have both as early to mid second round value. Campbell has Percy Harvin potential minus the injuries and crazy. Winovich is just a solid, versatile, all around DE. He'll probably never be a stud, but he should be a productive starter for years. High floor, moderate ceiling.
nlesthought
Gary is BG minus the effort...doesn’t have enough length to finish on the outside. Hard pass. I like the Harvin comp to Campbell I think he’s more polished in the slot running routes As much as I would like a move up for a blue chip prospect handing over a 2nd is a dilemma imo. There is a huge drop off at a lot positions from 1-2 round tier prospects to 4-5th round guys especially the way this current roster is constructed. Jeezla
I really like a lot of the guys the Eagles are bringing in for their official 30 visits: Darrell Henderson Jerry Tillery Trysten Hill Mecole Hardman N'Keal Harry Josh Jacobs Ed Oliver Montez Sweat Darnell Savage Juan Thornhill Chris Lindstrom Isaiah Johnson A little concerning we aren't bringing in any LB's though, when we still need a starting MLB and preferably a better WLB than Gerry or KGH. Maybe they feel they did enough LB interviewing at the Combine/SB/Shrine Game/NFLPA Game/Pro days, but I'd like to see us bring in a couple for visits. nlesthought
Jalen Hurd intrigues me...I need to see him work off the jam. Does he David Boston dudes who try to jam or does he use quickness/technique? He left Tenn after what '16-'17 season? He might be shooting up boards because of the potential. I'm not sure he's there in the 4th. Not saying he's worth a 2nd

I feel like the top two guys you know enough about, why waste one or two of your visits on them you know? The depth isn't really there this draft at LB. Would be nice to take an impact starter...but we are probably full up on depth guys this year. Seems likely we don't draft one
Danger
If we are going to take a safety in the 2nd round I think I want either CGJ or Savage

I think the guy our FO really wants is Andre Dillard (Supposedly we're targeting an OL in round 1), but if he goes earlier than we feel comfortable trading up for, then we'll target a DT in round 1. Something like this: Eagles trade 1#25 +2#57 to Ten for 1#19 + 3#82 1 Andre Dillard OT 2 Darnell Savage S 3 Darrell Henderson RB 4 Daylon Mack DT 4 Keelan Doss WR 5 Hjalte Froholdt LG 6 Gerri Green LB

I read somewhere that we're targeting an OL in round 1, and it would make sense for that OL to be Dillard because he's the best LT prospect in the draft. At around the 1st pick in the 5th round, Doss is about as good as it's going to get, and we tend to take Senior Bowl standouts.
