I think Pump is going to have to make the 53 or be cut but I see why you have Adams there. Not sure they'd give him a roster spot unless he really impresses. WeaponX Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Yeah, this 53 man roared would be better than last year’s roster IMO. Depth at key areas. Return of key starters who were injured. I think the DL got even better somehow and deeper. DB also deeper. It sucks losing a player in Robinson who played as well as he did last year. But I truly believe that even if he was back, we would have pegged him as a prime regression candidate. Upgrade at WR with Wallace over Smith. But what about Kenny Vaccaro? He would be a nice addition. By far the biggest need is the third safety. That was a first day of FA whoops Jimmy explains in more depth here. tl;dr version: Basically we are set to get 3 comp picks for Burton, Allen, and Robinson. Nelson and Sturgis were set to cancel out if they made the Eagles and Chargers respectively. But, since Sturgis looks like he’s gonna lose the job and be cut that means Nelson would instead have cancelled out the Robinson comp pick which won’t happen now since we cut him.
