Add me to the camp that likes Fullbacks, I know it’s a dying position but I don’t Carena

I’m starting the bring back Vitale campaign!!! Who’s with me ?!

to me a fullback is kind of liek a psecialist, they have a limited but important role. 15-20 snaps a game plus special teams.

I don't mean discipline as in focus.  Which is probably the main factor in drops, that and Mayfield's cannon. I meant more as in missing meetings going hard in practice and putting the work in.

Read somewhere that our receivers have cranked up the speed on the JUGS to adjust.

Yes he is.

His completion % attests to that even allowing for drops.

And one reason is that he isn't taking what opposing Ds are giving him.

Huh? He had 9 drops in the Raiders game. If you only include the drops from that game he is over 67% on the year. Include all of the games drops and he is well over 75%. There were also several that could have been caught.

I'm in the 'don't change' camp. At least not until defenses figure out a way to stop his accurate passes with zip that only his receivers can catch (unless it goes off of their hands). If I were to grade him as a QB I would grade him at about 98% which is unrealistic to be that good so I still wait for him to come down to earth but so far he has exceeded any hope I had for him and I wanted him at #1 overall. If this is who he is and he stays healthy we are winning it all at some point.

So, you do you Baker.

Most of what you are calling "drops" either were uncatchable or would have required exceptional catches.

Get real.

Fact is that his vaunted accuracy isn't what it was played up to be.

Maybe it will be at some point as he grows into the role but it isn't now.

Heard Willies got hurt in practice today, shoulder, is questionable for the game. Damn it, was looking forward to seeing what he can do. If he can't go, we're paper-thin at WR, but at least Duke should get more active in the game as a WR.  Man I want this W in the worst way, but I'm just not feeling it.  Hope I'm wrong.

A terrible hands catching, non-diligent worker, drops on 3rd down, missed route running, height-weight-speed specimen...

Makes no sense...

We need dependability for Baker....

Bennie Fowler, Dontrell Inman, Rishard Matthews...

How on Earth does Perriman make sense over those players?

He's been terrible for the Ravens... and missed meetings and wasn't accountable with Washington...

He must've had a crazy workout and/or meetings with Dorsey....

Hopefully, he can turn it around...

I would have preferred any one of those guys over him. Hell I’d takeg Greg little for his blocking alone. Perriman is a bum. Ugh Dorsey getting to cute. Give my matthews.dez.fowler. Any body. Else

What? We about to be enemies. I think it was officially 7 drops but 9 easily catchable balls and at least 10 that should have been caught by NFL receivers. His accuracy has been amazing. It isn't going to get any better than what we have seen so far, no QB has ever been that accurate.

Idk. Kid seems to be a big powerful receiver, they seem to want to keep him around.

I wish him the best. He’s just not unique and I see him getting lost in the 2019 offseason of us likely adding a couple good names to that WR room.
