my favorite from the bunch....

Terry McLaurin > WR

of course Bosa & Haskins but they will most likely go WAY before we pick unless Haskins takes a dive.

Not interested in Jones but would definitely like Jordan or Weber as long as it's not too early

After much consideration, the Vikings should really look at trading back and acquiring more picks. The DT and interior OL class this year is massive enough to be able to afford to do so. Plus there are so many quality players in other positions as well like CB and S that are part of this class that are mid-round starters.

Would really love to see Bradbury, Lindstrom and/or McCoy drafted in the first 2-3 rounds for us. then after that go for one of the top 10 DTs. We should be able to get one in the 2nd or 3rd round that is 1st round talent due to other teams needs and how loaded the DT class is.

It will really be interesting to see if someone like Devin White for instance drops due to teams need for QB if we went BPA due to talent alone. Him on the opposite side of Barr would be monstrous.

Not sure the market is going to be as robust as you think it'll be.  Last year, the Packers dealt a 3rd round pick to move up from 27 to 18.  The Bills gave up a 3rd round pick to move from 22 to 16.  Given how quickly OL tend to go off the board, you're running the risk that the OL run happens sooner rather than later.  Just at quick glance, Tennessee, Seattle, Baltimore, Houston, and Eagles figure to be in the market for OL.

That's the thing. We can't have it all. We can't get cute and try to pick up a mid-rounder and hope our guy falls to us. If this truly is our best "window" at a super bowl, we need to stay put and take the best OL there at 18 unless 6 go before us or something ridiculous like that.

Agreed.  They aren't likely going to be able to trade back in the first and still get the guy they want, considering Seattle and Houston are right behind them.  Save the trading back for the 2nd or 3rd round to pick up more mid to late-round picks.

Well you don’t trade back up until after they pick anyway. Say some top guy Falls they really want, and we take him at 18, and the guy you thought you were going to pick slides past them, you can move up....

I mean, that’s how it works with every trade up in the draft. Whether the player is Little, Bradberry, Lindstrom, Risner, there will be plenty of options around that could be available at the end of the 1st/top of the 2nd. The one advantage you get by 1st is still that 5th year option, the very tail end is where I would be maybe looking to “reach” to lock up a 5th year option on a future tackle.

I could get behind that if Little starts to fall, assuming that's who you're talking about.

Would you let him RS his rookie year or get him on the field right away by sliding Reiff inside?

I think that would depend. Are we trading back to take him? Then we probably wouldn't have much of a choice; we'd have to move Reiff inside. If we took an IOL at 18 then traded up into the end of the first for Little we'd probably redshirt him.

Agree, they signed an O-Lineman now they can go with more options in Round 1.  Then they can target guys with position need in the next 2 rounds and trade back if need be. There will be a future Hall of Fame player available at our pick we just need to make sure we find him and select him.
