And we’ve got nothing else to do til TC

I don't think many of us are researching college prospects for over a year away. Too much change to dive in with any certainty.

we should be maybe looking AT NT, Edge Rusher, QB, RB.

NT for Obvious Reasons. Abry and Dareus could be gone.

EDGE rusher because unless smoot is gonna play some regular DE were going to need some help with Fowlers option officially Declined.

QB because unless Lee shows out(im not holding breath) we still need a viable potential successor or backup to Blake. have to remember after 2019 we can move away from blake for fairly cheap.

RB because outside of Fournette we wont have a RB under contract outside of Random joes like Tim Cook and Brandon Wilds.

G/RT because Cann and Shatley are both FA's to be as well as Parnell able to be cut and wells is a FA

Why do we think RB is such a high priority? Why cant Yeldon/Grant be relied on if LF goes down?

Just makes me think if you think of taking LF at 4, you’d have the position more secure than this

Look at who's set to be free agents for us at rb.  Grant and yeldon so rb depth is absolutely needed.

That doesn’t negate the need for depth. Dime Corners, third Safeties, rotational DL, 4th WRs, swing tackles, #2 RBs are always needed regardless of what resources you put in as an investment for the starter.

No matter how good your starter is, you’re still going to be giving 75-100 carries to backups and/or gadget players. Might as well make sure those players are decent.

As for Yeldon and Grant, they’re both Free Agents this upcoming year and you gotta think one or both is at least going to want to go somewhere that they can get more involved, maybe getting the opportunity to be a starter or at least be a part of a RBBC.

It is fine to have this thread. We have had these threads up pretty early before. Just don't spam it with Fanspeak mocks before the season has started. For now, keep it to talk about potential needs and prospects.

Alternatively, if there is a need or want to do so, make a new thread specifically for placing all your Fanspeak mocks in.
