Pretty cool from our QB:

Quote

There is a crisis of leadership development among young men and women in Haiti. Very few opportunities are available for highly engaged character development and sports mentoring for youth in Haiti. Less than 20% of kids make it into high school, and even fewer have positive role models to follow. We're working to change that narrative.

The Haiti Sports Complex will be equipped with soccer fields, basketball courts, a basketball stadium, a weight-training facility, and a soccer and track stadium in an initiative to establish recreational and competitive sports programs serving 10-25 year old students and athletes.

feel like the people of haiti could have used something practical

Gonna presume it'll be built for community services and be hurricane proof for storms.

there are plenty of people in haiti that dont have access to clean water or power, but now they can play soccer so thats cool.

Just seems like an out of touch with reality contribution to make to the country iyam. But at least he's doing something.
