LinderFournette
Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 29: Williams, Jonah, OT, Alabama (A+) Starting RT Round 2 Pick 29: Stidham, Jarrett, QB, Auburn (A+) Potential Successor for bortles if we decide to move on from him in a year. Round 3 Pick 28: Burns, Brian, DE, Florida State (A+) explosive but undersized(he weighs like 220 pounds) edge rusher. Round 4 Pick 29: Ivey, Martez, OT, Florida (A+) Potential starting g Round 5 Pick 29: Gaines, Greg, DT, Washington (A+) Potential starting NT. i know he doesnt likely fit hobbys mold for a DT as hes 6 foot 1 330 but i think gaines tape can sell him as a 2 down guy and run stopping specialist. Round 6 Pick 28: Johnson, Anthony, WR, Buffalo (A+) WR depth. could be a starter but at worse we getting another wr with a lil bit of size. Round 7 Pick 16: Bee, Ryan, DT, Marshall (A+) 5/3tech depth. hes reportedly a NT but at 280 pounds i dont see that as his long-term NFL position. his future looks like a 3/5tech. LinderFournette
Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 29: Williams, Jonah, OT, Alabama (A+) starting RT. potential LT as well. Round 2 Pick 29: Lock, Drew, QB, Missouri (A+) potential QB of the future. he needs some work but bortles undercontract for a year so he can learn and devlop. hes fairly similiar to mahomes tho. Round 3 Pick 28: Fant, Noah, TE, Iowa (A+) future starting TE. Round 4 Pick 29: Ivey, Martez, OT, Florida (A+) Starting Guard. plug him at canns spot as i dont expect him to be back without him taking a discount. Round 5 Pick 29: Gaines, Greg, DT, Washington (A+) Dareus replacement. hes not as tall as hobby prefers but most nose tackles are typically shorter and heavy and hes certainly that. LinderFournette
22: R1P22 QB DREW LOCK MISSOURI potential starting QB. while he hasnt shown great accuracy hes shown great arm strength and mobility and is fairly similiar to Mahomes when he came out 54: R2P22 EDGE BRIAN BURNS FLORIDA STATE hes a bit undersized right now but hes athletic as hell and we need a 2nd true outside pass rushing threat. 85: R3P21 C ELGTON JENKINS MISSISSIPPI STATE hes got good size at 6 foot 4 315ish and actually projects better at guard then center and reportedly can play some on the outside at tackle. 124: R4P22 RB DAVID MONTGOMERY IOWA STATE yeldon is probably playing his way into a contract we cant really afford and grant is gonna be questionable to be back with his foot injury. i project him as a good pass catching back who can make a decent number of moderate gains but isnt a huge home run threat and while he isnt a good pass blocker yet hes shown a willingness to do it so its something the staff can worth with him. 162: R5P22 WR TONY POLLARD MEMPHIS i picked him for his return abilities where he has 6 Kick return tds in his career and hes also shown an ability to kinda be an all around weapon as a WR and RB. hes got solid size at 6 foot 208 and hes fairly athletic. 195: R6P21 DL RYAN BEE MARSHALL a potential jar on the shelf that projects as an inside player and hes long so im sure hobby would enjoy him as a potential replacement for campbell or jackson down the the line 240: R7P24 OT BRANDON KNIGHT INDIANA just some OT competition. hes got decent size at 6 foot 5 305 so why not. The same school just makes it even easier to see. He may not be quite that bad, but he's got a lot of the same traits and negatives as well. At best, maybe he's Trubisky.
