a trade down with the eagles aka PHI. it was a trade down from our 1st to their 1st for 2 2nd round picks.   it is pretty obvious where those picks were acquired from since the picks in question have a (PHI) next to them.

Thats pretty far fetched but whatever.

not really. if u really love a prospect u move up to get the prospect.  a 400 point difference isnt off by much.

some examples granted these 2 trades were moves for qbs:

the colts-jets trade last year.  colts got 37, 49 and a 2019 2nd from moving  3 to 6. thats a 340 difference not counting the 2019 2nd for the colts advantage.

Bucs-Bills trade last year. bucs traded 7 and 255 for 12, 53, and 56. its a 410 point advantage for the bills

he seems like hes a solid potential QB choice. question is does he benefit from the talent around him or not.

I don't think there's even a hint of doubt that Haskins benefits from the talent around him.

The real question is...how will he fare when he doesn't have that talent advantage and a scheme that sets up a boatload of his yardage off easy pitch and catch underneath stuff that gets taken for big gains?  When he actually has to throw into tight windows.  And whether the mechanical stuff (particularly in his footwork) can be more consistent, or whether some of the bad habits are going to continue to linger.  He's very raw.

Day 2 does feel like a more reasonable spot to grab a project like that though.

the 1 drawback i see with herbert is i kinda see some of a certain qb in him. im not mentioning names but he was a former top 10 pick of ours

Maybe it's the school/ uniform/ offense,  but Drew Lock reminds me too much of Blaine.

He actually seems a cross between Blaine and Locker.

I'm very triggered by him and would freak out if we took him lol

Needless to say this draft class leaves a lot to be desired.
