Derek Barnett was the latest in a long line of Philadelphia Eagles to play injured in 2017 and took care of his nagging issue immediately after the Super Bowl. According to Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice, Barnett had offseason surgery for a sports hernia but the recovery time is only six weeks. Barnett should already be recovered from the injury.

Not going to be serious, but FYI.

In Barnett's case, he should already be fully recovered. But this does raise the question how many others are/were hurt or having surgeries that we don't know about.

It's less this one but the amount of players that we knew were already coming back from injury plus this, Jernigan and Alshon. That amount of people who might not be available or 100% recovered is concerning.

Its obviously never ideal to have people working through injury but I think we have enough that we can survive and succeed even if these guys aren't 100% to start the season and still working through minor issues.

The first quarter of our season is against the Falcons, Bucs, Colts, and Titans.

Not exactly murderers' row right there.
