Deekster37
So I think this is the best combo we've had since Bennett/Levens! I'm just curious if you had to pick one who would it be?! I would take Williams I think he's the most well rounded let me know your thoughts!
{Family Ghost}
I'd pick Jones for sure .. he's a home run hitter. If his blocking is vastly improved this year he's going to get the bulk of the carries.
AlexGreen#20
Probably take Jones, think he's a better natural runner and you can theoretically teach the blocking portion of it.
SSG
Not sure this is a better pair than Lacy and Starks early in EL's career but they are a pair that is some excitement around. I prefer Jones. He's the more electric back and I think he's got better vision. Williams really, really struggled early last year and he's more of a plodder IMO. Stevein2012
Jones is RB1 and I still like Montgomery more than Williams but Williams is way more reliable
Jaegybomb
Rookie year YPCs: Montgomery 5.9 Jones 5.5 Williams 3.
HyponGrey
Jones. Better runner, and he's shown to be a willing, though not necessarily capable, blocker. That should change.
Cakeshoppe
I feel like I'm missing something on Williams. I'm usually in the optimist crowd here but I feel like he didn't show all that much to be optimistic about. 3.6 y/c ain't great. Lots of people seem high on him though. Scoremore
Yes Aaron Jones. Williams is a beast though. He's the guy who will get you that tough yard. Big bruiser. They have different styles. Like the blend the Packers have at RB. Still believe Monty is the most talented of the bunch. He should be the day 1 starter. Didn't see enough of Mays he gets an incomplete. Like him to get an opportunity he never got a fair shake last year. Sometimes it takes guys a little longer to catch on. Hopefully he'll take a jump. Gopackgonerd
Jones, his vision is very elite, can make something out of nothing on basically any play. I do still like Williams though on 3rd and shorts and goallines, I hope both these guys can stay healthy, great 1 2 punch. Can't forget Monty though, he's one of the best 3rd down backs. FinneasGage
Aaron Jones just might be a top 20 RB so him I'd say. but yeah im really pumped about the duo. really kinda intrigued to see how they (and monty) work out as far as snaps/roles.
ThatJerkDave
I actually like it as a tandem. We just need to run the ball enough to make it an actual tandem.
Mr. Fussnputz
Williams to grind 'em down and Jones to sizzle 'em when their legs get heavy. It worked in '17 and should be even better in '18!
moretti19
I like the Jones/Montgomery combo much more.
