Previous Year's Ranking - N/A

Richardson has a ton of speed but really only has one solid season in the NFL under his belt.  We gave him a 5-year $40 mil deal with $20 mil guaranteed to be our new deep threat, but he's only produced 1,302 receiving yards in 4 seasons.  For Richardson to be a quality starter not only is he going to have to stay healthy, he's going to have to produce more than he ever has in the NFL before.  That being said, he ran a 4.40 at the combine and should give us speed outside we were missing last year.  He misses the Top 20 because he is unproven to stay healthy, in career production, and he's new to our offense.  He's all upside but he's a risk for sure.

Who was #4 on your list last year?  I don't see a name.

Hmm I'll have to look into that.

edit - I looked at my spreadsheet from last year and it was supposed to be Preston Smith.

It's amazing how different 2018 is going to look.

6, 12, 13, 17, 20 and an HM from last year are all off the team. 15 and 16 could get cut.

Preston Smith will likely drop hard. Ryan Anderson probably won't make it.

2015 List:

1. Trent Williams, OT
2. Ryan Kerrigan, OLB
3. Desean Jackson, WR
4. Alfred Morris, HB
5. Terrance Knighton, NT
6. Chris Culliver, CB

7. Tress Way, P
8. Pierre Garcon, WR
9. Robert Griffin III, QB
10. Jason Hatcher, DE/DT

11. Brandon Scherff, OT/OG
12. Jordan Reed, TE
13. Bashaud Breeland, CB
14. Darrel Young, FB
15. Keenan Robinson, MLB
16. Kory Lichtensteiger, OC
17. Deangelo Hall, CB
18. Stephen Paea, DE/DT
19. Trent Murphy, OLB

20. Preston Smith, OLB

There are only 6 players still on the roster.  We shouldn't have such a high turnover rate in 4 years, especially with our top players.

Moreau came into camp last year still nursing an injury from college, so he was behind the curve early.  He only registered 4 tackles in limited playing time as a rookie.  But we brought in Paul Richardson to be a deep threat on offense, but Moreau ran a faster 40 time (4.35) at the combine.  The guy can flat out fly.  I think he's going to end up taking over the #2 role full time this year.  It may not be Week 1 but by mid-season I think he'll be starting.  Obviously this is a total projection, which is why he didn't make the top 20, but the upside is there.

A lot of those players were old or got overpaid in FA

I’m confused, why are you naming honorable mentions before the list is done?

I go in reverse order, so they were essentially 21-22 on the list.

Count me amongst those who weren't thrilled went we spent a 4th round pick on this guy last year, but man he looked really good when he was out there on the field.  He has range our other safeties just don't have (well maybe Apke but we'll see).  We only got to see him in 8 games last year, and health could definitely be a factor for him going forward (especially the concussions), but when he was out there he looked like a legitimate starting deep Safety.

BTW, #20 - 16 are all going to be young players with upside that are unproven at this point.

Oh, also 3 possible Week 1 starters did not make the Top 20.

Interesting. Considering that there are 22 starters and you’re doing a top 20 list, two of them are understandable. The other one is obvious, it’s Lauvao.

Actually if you count Richardson I guess it would be 4.
