SteelKing728
Harrison Smith Malcolm Jenkins Landon Collins Earl Thomas Reshad Jones Eric Berry Kevin Byard Keanu Neal Lamarcus Joyner Haha Clinton Dix That's the top 10 in some order. Clinton-Dix is by far the most fringe player on this list.
TENINCH
Id' put Dix all up in there and take out either Joyner, Neal, or Byrd.

I see him more as a definitely top 15 player trending upward than top 10 lock. Its hard to be successful when your Defensive Coordinator was so bad that he'd be better off as an Offensive Coordinator.
SmittyBacall
Eric Berry is the best safety in the league in my opinion. I still remember how well he played Gronk Week 1 last year before he tore his ACL.
Jags
Top 9 Safeties of 2017 regardless of FS or SS according to PFF top 101: 1. Harrison Smith - Minnesota Vikings - He won the PFF Dwight Stephenson award for the best player of the regular season. He had PFF's top grade ever for a safety since 2006 (better than Troy, Weddle, Reed, ET, insert name of safety since 06 here). 2. Adrian Amos - Chicago Bears - Played at an elite level as according to PFF. He finally put it all together and was a solid tackler while getting good grades against the run and in coverage. 3. Kevin Byard - Tennessee Titans- Up and comer who was rated a high quality player. He was graded for having great coverage all year and also tying for the most INT in the NFL at 8. 4. Lamarcus Joyner - LA Rams - Was rated an elite safety because of superb coverage, but somehow was rated lower on the top 101 list (either PFF is bologna or playoff factor) than Byard. 5. Glover Quin - Detroit Lions - Rated a High Quality safety because of his consistency in coverage and also being stout against the run. 6. Earl Thomas - Seattle Seahawks -Rated a High Quality safety because of his impact in the Seattle defense and ability to cover sideline to sideline like no other. Future HOFer. 7. Landon Collins - NY Giants - Rated a High Quality safety (higher rating than Earl and neither went to the playoffs so this is a confusing as to why he's lower on the top 101 list, favoritism? Proof of PFFs inconsistencies and bologna? Human error?) in 2017 and he was a bright spot on a defense that seemed to collapse. He was stout against the run. 8. Jordan Poyer - Buffalo Bills - Rated a High Quality Safety with the same exact grade as Earl Thomas. Says that he maximized his impact in the Bills defensive scheme. He was able to catch a fair amount of picks while also being solid in coverage and missing few tackles. 9. Micah Hyde - Buffalo Bills - Graded a High Quality Safety while stating that he benefited from the Buffalo scheme change. States that he was fantastic in coverage and did not allow many yards after the catch. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-top-101-players-from-the-2017-nfl-season
Mox
Haha only has what 1? really good season and was trash last year. He's not a top 10 safety.

Neither PFF or other sources has him as a top 10 safety. If anyone is ranking him in the top 10 its either because of his name or potential. theuntouchable
Any list that does not include Glover Quin is wrong. There’s not much to boast about in Detroit these days by Quin is definitely top
