Jared Jammer
Edgerrin James deserves an honorable mention. It's a shame about the injury.

His best season in rushing yards wouldn't crack the top 200. His best season for rushing TD's is tied with 40 other guys at 93. Despite the benefit of a small sample size he's outside the top 20 for rushing yards per game in a career. And last year was the only year he was even remotely impressive as a pass catcher. He's also only 23 years old and was stuck playing for Jeff Fisher prior to that last year.

Speed, power, receiving? i thought of AP at his best he was extremely fast and powerful but never a great receiver Peterson couldn't catch the ball or block very well. I'll say LaDanian Tomlinson was the most complete back ever.

And while he didnt have lower the shoulder power, he took contact easily and maintained impeccable balance, which requires alot of strength imo. That’s fair, but again, let’s let him get there before we start saying he could wind up the best back in history. If he had 3 prime Davis like years Id still argue it would be putting the cart before the horse right now.

It's about who is the "most complete" back. That being said, I dont think Gurley has the power necessary to be in the conversation.
