Ah ok, I thought there was something new that I missed. That is a good video though

Yeah, I assumed most had seen it lol. My biggest question now is will I have to have Playstation Plus even if I don't want to play w/ anyone? I absolutely will not own this game if I need to. Just an added expense for something I would never use. W/ the massive map and while it may not be ready right away, I don't see how they would have a difficult time making this a single player experience you can put 60+ hours into. I feel even if the halfassed it, they should be able to.

You will definitely need PS+ to play. It was clear that you can not play offline

I definitely misunderstood then. Hopefully you're wrong but if not, meh, whatever. I'll find other things to do and just await the next, traditional release.

I can't see what video you posted, but I assume it was the NoClip documentary. Go on youtube and watch the Todd Howard interview the day after the Bethesda e3 presser. The first question he's asked is if you can play offline, and he said no. You can choose to play alone, but you are still in a server with other people.

One question I have for that is if you choose to be a lone wanderer, are you going to be in lobbies with parties of 4? Because that would blow

I highly doubt it. That wouldn't make any sense.

I'm sure in the gameplay you could look and see if there are always 3 other players listed. When you are in a party it shows the other people in the party on the bottom left of the screen.

What I mean is that if you play alone and join a lobby, am I going to run into a team of 4. So I'm fighting 4 people by myself if they are aggressive.

The way it was explained is that a friend can join your lobby whenever, so it would lead me to believe that playing alone is a huge disadvantage

Not trying to hijack this but I'm sure it'll get more attention than the random thread for my question:

I'm trying to prolong FO4 as long as I can. The main quest is at The Battle of Bunker Hill. Am I close to being done with the main story?? I have optional quests to let others know so it's giving me those thoughts

Yeah, you are getting pretty close to the end, and you are getting near the point where you are going to need to choose which faction to side with (depending on how you have played things up to that point).

Ugh, dammit. Thought I'd have a lot more time. Guess I can just keep farting around getting tech, saving camps, and escorting scribes. I've only got a handful of other quests left

Thanks for the heads up

This isn't even a BETA, it's early access. The game is going to have gone gold by the time the BETA is out. Not enough time to fix all the necessary bugs by the official launch.

That seems pretty Bethesda-esque.

They'll release a patch and modders will fix everything else.

Except mods are a very iffy thing given this will be online on Bethesda servers without private servers for quite some time.

Going "gold" is meaningless nowadays, especially in a purely online game. Almost every single game has a release day patch, plus numerous patches in the first few weeks.

We've all seen how well Bethesda fixes bugs in their games in the past....
