sp6488
This is my breakout player for the Ravens: Matt Judon, 6'3 275 lb, EDGE 3rd year player out of Grand Valley State (5th round pick in 2016) Production: 2016: 14 GP/0 GS; 12 solo tackle/15 ast; 4 sacks; 0 FF/1 FR; 2 PD 2017: 16 GP/12 GS; 50 solo tackle/8 ast; 8 sacks; 2 FF/1 FR; 3 PD As you can see, he had a major jump in production in his second year. I think continued development (he was a small school guy), additional responsibility with coverages (primarily short zones and screen defense) and a more aggressive scheme going from Pees to Martindale at DC will contribute to him taking a BIG step forward. Possible limiting factor will be the emergence of Tim Williams and Tyus Bowser (both 2nd year, day two draftees), thus cutting into his snaps. I am projecting something like (barring injury, of course): 16 GP/14 GS; 60 solo tackle/10 ast; 12 sacks; 2 FF/2 FR; 1 INT; 4 PD

Last year, Miami's top 3 WRs accounted for 90% of all WR snaps. That simply won't happen this year. I think it's reasonable to expect a big jump from Grant - even if I don't think that means 800 yards. "Break out" is a subjective phrase, I suppose - I think 600 yards at 15 yards a pop and 5+ TDs would be a breakout season for Grant in a crowded WR room. Thank you. Would expect a Pats fan to understand. Barring Tannehill's health, easily could see 4-5 receivers over 500 yards.
