Chubb and Duke should be a nice combo for them. *Looks like they have an out after 1 year on Hyde.
Xmad
Duke>Hyde>Chubb. Eh makes sense to keep him around though so good for the browns.
Forge
I don't think Duke is really impacted by Chubb of Hyde, so not overly sure why it's surprising in that regard. He serves a completely different purpose than the other two backs. If anything, I'd argue that it's more surprising that they took Chubb so early right after signing Hyde. DawgX
Nice! Duke should be a very good compliment to Chubb and Hyde. He's easily one of the best receiving RBs in the league, and last year he seemed to improve more as a runner, so hopefully he'll get more opportunities to do that this year and beyond. The only sad fans are dynasty FFB owners who were hoping Chubb could be the 2019+ 3-down back (which personally I thought was a pipe dream but that’s the white whale). IRL this is a fantastic move. Duke helps their pass game and 2 min drill so much. 18 minutes ago, TheVillain112 said: 0% chance Hue Jackson doesn't mess this up... It’s really hard for anyone to screw this up...but Hue will probably find a way lol. He probably is thinking “challenge accepted”.
sdrawkcab321
Duke can play WR just as well as RB if not better. Good deal for a versatile player. Hopefully running back by committee will keep everyone fresh.

Or that they extended Johnson after trading for Landry. Browns have it to spend at the moment though so why not keep/add all the talent you can. Carlos Hyde as the receiving back, Duke Johnson will be the short yardage and power formation specialist, while Chubb gets a year on the practice squad. Duke is pretty powerful for 215 lbs or whatever it is, but yeah something like that sounds about right. The Practice squad thing is far fetched because he would immediately be picked up so we need to change that to making Chubb a safety or something. No way they try and put Chubb on the practice squad. I believe he could be starting on several teams. He reminds me of Priest Holmes and I can't wait to see how he does.
