Weird timing for this extension, imo. Not when Duke is a completely different RB than Chubb/Hyde. Duke is the only RB with 50+ receptions 3 straight years in the NFL. Hes more of a WR on screens, pitches and out of the slot than a true RB. He plays a similar role to everbodys favorite RB/WR hybrid in Percy Harvin. Plus, Hyde is a 1 year veteran rental who will be released after this season so it can be the Chubb/Duke show. I dont believe this staff will use Hyde for much more than a early down reliever for Nick Chubb with Duke Johnson taking all of the passing situation snaps.
