We obviously just didn't want Lopez back which is likely stupid, but McGee has nothing to do with that. If anything its the Stephenson signing that should be mentioned here considering he was signed for 4.5 million which is more than what Brook got. Not like we couldn't have still signed Lopez for more than what the Bucks offered if we wanted to. Honestly the Lakers don't seem to be trying to be that competitive this year.
