Survivor: WINNER ANNOUNCED ON PAGE 458

The Four Captains have raced to their boats.  This race is over.

You’ve all come here on the same ship.  It was a little over a day’s journey, and you’re all tired.  You’ve had some time to size up your competition as they arrived on the ship one by one.  You may have even talked to some of your opponents, and possibly made alliances already.  The island that you stand on now is called Challenge Island (Game Thread).  Here, you will be able to communicate with anybody in the game, but only on this island (game thread).  Some of you may have noticed that there are four smaller boats, which can hold about seven people each, just over there at the other end of the island.  They’re a good distance, about a hundred yards away.  Some of you might be wondering what they’re for.

I’m sure you’re also wondering which tribe you’re going to be on.  Let’s find out.  Four of you will pick your own tribes.  Which four of you?  The first four to run to the boats that are a hundred yards away.  Right there (my inbox).  Everybody gets to race to one of the four boats (my inbox).  The first four to reach a boat will be able to hold a draft for your tribe mates.  Confused?  Basically, the first four players to send me a big board of players they want on their tribe from 1 to 27 (1 being who you want most, 27 being who you want least) will be Tribe Captains, and we will hold a draft based on those big boards.  The Big Boards themselves will not be revealed, but the draft will be held live.  The first player to reach their boat gets first pick, second gets second pick and so on.  It will be a snaking order.  1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th…

In order for the Big Board to be considered valid, you MUST rank all the signed up players from 1-27 of the 28 players listed in the sign-up post.  ALSO, you must NAME your Tribe.  If you do not send a list from 1-27, and/or if you do not NAME YOUR TRIBE, you will not be a captain.  The Tribe Captain title is meaningless after teams are drafted.

Remember, we will hold the Tribal Draft based off the FIRST FOUR Big Board submissions.  Four big boards, Jeff?

That’s right.  On Survivor: Antarctica, you all shared the same island.  This season, there will be four tribes, and each tribe has their own island separated by a distance too great to communicate between, except for Redemption Island, which is equidistant between each of the four tribe’s islands.  Each tribe will have to Outwit, Outlast and Outplay not only the other tribes, but castaways within their tribe.

Island 1 - Tribe 1
Island 2 - Tribe 2
Island 3 - Tribe 3
Island 4 - Tribe 4
Island 5 - Redemption Island

The Sixth Island is where all the challenges and Tribal Council will take place, the island you are on now.  Challenge Island.

At pre-determined points in the game, tribes will dissolve until only one tribe remains.  Players may only communicate with players on their tribe and players on Redemption Island.  The one exception is in the game thread.  Any communication, game or otherwise, is allowed in thread.

Welcome to Survivor: Six Islands!
