Reading around the web the consensus is three games. Franchise Leaders don’t get suspended. The biggest question is why the heck did he hide it from the Bucs? Especially when they took a chance on him ? Suspicion of guilt in my opinion
bucsfan333
I'm with @deuces22wild on this one. I doubt it's more than two games with a MNF game week three. It's dumb. But Zeke got six games so whatever.
ravishingone
Didnt Tom Brady get 4 games and Big Ben get 3 games? Until an actual suspension occurs, I have nothing further I can add.
REDandPEWTER
Probably no more than 3 games. 21 minutes ago, bucsfan333 said: I'm with @deuces22wild on this one. I highly doubt that’s in consideration. The suspension is for protecting the leagues reputation if for some reason a video ever surfaces.

I'm not entirely sure they can suspend him for a rule that wasn't in effect yet. Worth noting. Good find.

deuces22wild
So no criminal wrong doing but the NFL will suspend him for three games because of what exactly again?

Conduct detrimental to the league, I'd guess.

bucsfan333
So Jameis needs to pretty much live on house arrest for the rest of his career. One more stupid thing like this and he's out for a year. Doesn't matter whether or not he's guilty.
ravishingone
I just hope this suspension is based on concrete facts as opposed to unlimited power of Article 47. I guess we ll find out soon enough.
