Danger
I'll go with the only one that's been relevant over the past two decades.
patriotsheatyan
None of them. The 49ers and Patriots have been irrelevant for most of their history. The Cowboys haven’t mattered in 20 years and also weren’t around to matter premerger. If we are strictly talking currently, then the Patriots by far both among this trio and other teams. Only after 20 years of being sabotaged by the egomanicial owner have the NFL caught up in playoff wins, SB wins and appearences, records, etc.

They are dead last among the trio in Super Bowl appearances, playoff wins, and division titles. Meanwhile the only meaningful measurement they lead in our Conference Title Game appearances. They've also played in the least playoff games and still don't have the best win percentage. I think it comes down to what you value more between the Patriots and Cowboys. Patriots basically skipped the 60's and 70's. Cowboys basically skipped the last two decades.

I know people consider Jerry a great owner for the 90's, but I really think he fell butt first into the Herschel Walker trade and Jimmy Johnson and road that early on and screwed it up the first chance he got. He is a great owner. Just a horrible GM. Hired Jimmy who in all respects revolutionized the way teams drafted and took the NFL by storm and could have kept the streak alive through the 90's and maybe even early 2000's. But Jerruh being Jerruh had to prove he was the reason for the success, butted heads with Jimmy and gave his job to a guy who could coach as well as Jimmy but had no sense of drafting or salaries or team discipline and ran the team into the ground. On top of that, Jerruh ruined us for the better part of like 8 years with Primetime and that ungodly contract that set us back for years and years. Passed on Randy Moss, made up for that by making his own Great Train Robbery trade that he was on the wrong side of for Joey Galloway. Refused to trade up for Drew Brees but did not hesitate to go after Quincy Carter. Started to try and get his act together with Roy Williams in 02. But had such a ruined reputation around the NFL by that time that no coach would sign with him because he absolutely refused to relinquish the GM job. Somehow convinced Parcells to take the the HC job but still had to be in the drafting process and the salary process. That relationship didn't work out too well. Found someone more complient with Phillips, but ruined any shot he had at the job because he almost immediately brought in Redball to groom to be the next and had made it clear at that point that Phillips would never be a long term solution. It wasn't until 2011 that Steven Jones started to pull control away from his father that things started looking up for us. But Jerruh still wont let go of Redball so we still cannot progress to where we need to be until he gives up full control.

TXsteeler
I would eliminate the Niners because they have had so many more losing seasons and for longer stretches of time since the merger. After that I would put the Cowboys over the Patriots just because the Cowboys have had multiple periods of great success winning superbowls in the 70s and 90s with completely different teams, whereas the Patriots have only ever been truly successful under Tom and Bill. Also, the cowboys have been to the playoffs at least 4 times every decade since the 60s except this one, where they have only been twice with two years to go. The Patriots only went once in the 60s, twice in the 70s and three times in the 80s, most of their success has been within the past two decades.
