Who are the worst projected starters in the NFL?

The worst starter for Minnesota is Ben Gedeon at WLB but he only plays 30% of the snaps anyways, and was pretty awesome on special teams from what I recall. I don't see any reason for us to try to upgrade from him though because he's a pretty decent player.

I thought it was funny during the early part of the offseason how analysts looked at our roster and said we needed to upgrade WLB when that position barely plays anyways.

Have you seen some of the safeties in the league?  Conte is FAR from the worst.

I remember when he was in Chicago.  The fans would blame this guy for everything, and about 95% of the time, it wasn't even his assignment...

He'd actually make a tackle or a pass breakup, and fans would still complain; it was hilarious.

If he was in Chicago, I bet he'd still be starting.

You realize Chicago has one of the better young Safety duos right? Adrian Amos was ranked 2nd amongst all safeties in the NFL by PFF and rookie Eddie Jackson had 73 TT, 2 INT, 2TD. Chris Conte wouldn’t make the Bears roster.

Whoever starts at RT for the Texans - Seantrell Henderson, Martinas Rankins, Rod Johnson, Jeff Allen or Kendall Lamm.

I have hope that LT Julie'n Davenport will turn into a good (if not great) LT one day, but that right side is a disaster.

Im surprised you didnt mention whoever starts at TE for us.  We seriously have the worst TE core in the league.

my bad...missed that at the bottom. lol.

Remember the days of Owen Daniels? Couldn't block to save his life, but got open and caught the ball.

I'd kill for that right now.

Saints TE (Watson or Hill, with a mix of UDFA Deon Yelder and/or Michael Hoomanawanui) will not be very impressive this year I don't think. Also they're a pretty "meh" as SS with Kurt Coleman and Von Bell expected to split time there.

The Colts have some terrible starters, my God. I hope for their sake Luck is not only healthy, but playing at God Mode this season or else this team is gonna be putrid. As one of the strongholds in the Colts forum, what is your outlook for the team this year?

Colt’s Madden Ratings show how some spots are more terrible then others

lowest rated starters

MLB Darius Leonard - 72

ROLB Kemoko Turay - 72

CB Pierre Desir - 73 (Nate Hairston and Quincy Wilson are both 72)

If not for Madden listing Turay and John Simon (LOLB 78) as LBers, the highest rated Colts LBers would be Leonard, Najee Goode LOLB 70, Anthony Walker ROLB 71

Cedric Ogbuehi might be our starting RT.  I really hope not...

So, when the Bengals drafted Ogbuehi and Fisher, I kind of assumed Fisher was going to be the left tackle and Oghuehi was going to be the right tackle.  That was where both players were projected to play pre-draft.  What happened that both were busts even though Fisher was one of the most sought after second round prospects on this forum*?  Why was Fisher put at right tackle and why was Ogbuehi put at left tackle?

*If you read single team mock drafts on the football's future team forums in 2015, I'd say you had a good chance to see '2. Jake Fisher, OT, Oregon' at least one quarter of the time regardless of team.   Obviously there were some teams where you wouldn't see it, but there were also some where you would always see it.
