Couple of thoughts on the roster.  I hope both Rodgers and Sims aren't on the roster.  Watson gets redshirted.  Stevie T to the practice squad.  I think they go with at least 9 dline.  I think Tandy doesn't make it.  He made a nice career for himself, but they 're going  to have to cut back somewhere for the additional dline. Loser of backup swing tackle to practice squad.

There are a few spots that seem crowded.

We've got Watson, Bobo, Martino, and Reedy vying for the fifth/sixth WR spot(s). Watson is the farthest behind. But his H/W/S is incredible, and his potential is through the roof. With DJax and Hump both probably leaving next year, it would seem odd to make Watson a priority in the draft to put him on the practice squad. Someone is gonna have to stand out on special teams to earn a leg up. I can't imagine many snaps will be available at WR with the top four set and our love of two TE sets.

RB got interesting with the emergence of Shaun Wilson. If he can stand out on special teams, he's got a legit shot to supplant Quizz. And if Wilson can prove himself as a pass blocker, Sims can take a hike. If he can somehow do both, we don't need either guy.

Swing tackle got competitive when Gardner showed up. Wester was easily the favorite and all but a lock to make it. But Gardner has been really, really good. Wester is going to his third season however, so I don't know if he's eligible for the practice squad. Which might earn him a roster spot so we can keep both, with Gardner only being in his second year.

Safety is another position that gets tricky. Tandy is the most knowledgeable guy we have back there. But he's also probably the most physically limited. We promoted Isaiah Johnson to the 53 late last year. So we like him at least a little bit. It's a tough call if we decide on one or the other. I've got both here.

I've got nine for the dline. I figure Clarke will be one of the game day inactives. I think the other eight are pretty set. Stevie T is most likely a practice squad guy, I agree.

I should have been more clear with Watson.  I think he gets a training camp injury that puts him on IR.  For whatever reason, they don't want Tandy on defense, I think Johnson beats him out.

The kinda shady "IR for a sprained ankle" type thing we've done the last few years makes sense for Watson.

LEts hope the final 53 involves the Bucs swinging a trade for QB Nick Foles or QB teddy bridgewater.
