I’d like to see McGuire cut into Powell’s touches once he comes back healthy. Cannon is the one I think that might get cut. 3 fumbles in 2 games. I had hopes for him but he hardly played in game 3 getting only 3 snaps but his competition, Thomas only saw 6 so it probably comes down to how he performs in game 4. I think Cannon gets put on the practice squad. So to start the season, a good bet is Crowell, Powell, and West. When McGuire gets back, then one of Powell or West gets cut. Taylor Bertolet and Jason Meyers need to show something for real. Monitor whoever is available via waiver for PK if possible. Also if Jets waived and added Cannon to PS then punt returner is needed. Another truly awful draft pick from Macagnan. Move on. Disspointed he didn't step. That draft class is basically 2 solid starting safeties and 2 solid backup (Jones and McGuire). Those last two guys are still reaching their potential. But I think we've seen enough of them to at least say they will have roster spots. Not terrible but not a good draft class.
