We aren't sure if he has a hamstring issue this year because it popped up yesterday which the browns were in the process of trading him so they probably had him sit out until the trade was finalized to prevent any issues. We will see during his physical today. Not saying that it is the same thing but we did trade for Hughes and it worked out for the bills hopefully this trade does the same thing. Not missing playing time and playing through injuries are two separate things. Hamstring injuries affect performance on the field. Nevertheless, a 2020 7th round pick for Coleman is an incredible deal/gamble for the Bills! The potential value is crazy good. LOL Only time he played through a hamstring injury was in college back in 2014. He sat out during camp both times when he had the minor tweaks that were graded a level 1 which isnt a big deal. The hand is what killed him both seasons. We will see on the physical and if he decides to race someone like shady in practice for fun to see how explosive he really is. HAHA...thats the one thing I will never understand with GMs...they always want to build their own roster whatever it takes and dump the old regimes players. This is a good example of why you shouldnt dump them or atleast so fast. They never really gave Coleman a shot, he was cheap and the cost of getting a 7th round pick in 2 years does nothing for the team now. Callaway has always had a checkered past leading up to the draft when he had failed a drug test at the combine. The browns still risked taking him but to dump a player who was projected to be the starter on the outside or back up to calloway would be well worth the small cap hit instead they are now running with just landry, calloway and gordon are up in the air right now on their future.
