Let's be honest, when has being found guilty been a prerequisite for the NFL to suspend someone, or even for the accusations to be shown to have an overwhelmingly high chance of being completely made up to hurt someone's career just to disregard the findings and suspend them anyways.

This is another example of an uninformed post. What many fans fail to comprehend is that the NFL has its own top- notch security team, many of them former FBI agents. This is a multi-billion dollar enterprise we're talking about. What the NFL finds out about an infraction is not what the NFL shares about the infraction. In many cases they know much more than is revealed publicly, but its not in the Leagues best interest to share all of that info.

Fans jump to the conclusion that a guy was innocent and that the NFL bungled the case. That's a popular opinion, but its often not true at all. They simply have monetary and public image reasons for keeping many things under wraps. See below for more:

...

"the league’s three previous security directors — Jack Danahy, Warren Welsh and Milt Ahlerich — were all former FBI executives, and when they built the second, considerably broader level of the NFL’s security machine, they used a familiar blueprint.

Each NFL team is assigned a contractor, along with an associate investigator, to act as the league’s eyes and ears (many teams hire their own in-house security experts to protect their interests). Of the consultants assigned by the league, many have experience in federal law enforcement agencies — most commonly the FBI — and their directive is to establish knowledge of and comfort within the local legal setting. They get to know the area’s information brokers, and after player arrests or potential incidents of misconduct, the representative ferrets out information — often details that would never be made public — with the intention of sharing it with the league office."

“It’s set up just like the FBI,” said another former NFL team official. “Think of the 32 teams as field offices.”

The work is expected to be thorough and fast, drawing little attention. “They’re not calling up the media,” said one person who spent years inside the system. “You would be fired. It’s confidential work.”

That's not how the law works. In a tenant-occupied property, the landlord cannot enter that property without prior notice to the tenant (except in certain emergencies). And a landlord cannot give any third-party consent to enter tenant-occupied property (again, other than in certain emergencies).

I *believe* this is state-dependent. Some rental statutes are different between states.

It is. In Georgia the tenant's right to exclusive use of property does not appear to be statutory (I looked). But it does exist.

The minimum notice period for non-emergency landlord entry of tenant-occupied property is not specified, but Georgia courts have consistently held that 24 hours is reasonable.

Yup, she didn't pistol whip herself. "Someone" did some serious beating on that woman.

this thing is crazy. did mccoy tell someone to do it, did the person decide to do it on his own or is she so desperate to keep the housw she staged it herself.

her side is claiming mccoy put in new security cameras he could have watched on, his side is saying she took those out. that should be really easy to verify and see whose lying.

Do they actually know who the guy was that beat her?

If they find him and he and McCoy even know each other Shady's got a big problem.

"The statement also alleges McCoy changed the house's alarm system and removed security cameras previously accessed by Cordon"

That's a huge red flag... while McCoy didn't beat her himself, still looking like he had some part in this.

Wouldn't that be SOP as part of removing a tenat from a building? You don't want them to have access to the alarm system or cameras if they're being 'evicted'.

Well the fact he told she might be robbed if she doesn't return some jewelry adds to him removing the cameras.

From what I read, he removed the cameras entirely previous to this break in. Not just changed her access. He didn't want footage recorded.

Then where is the footage?

Regardless it's not looking good for him. Even if he didn't tell that dude to beat her, still looking very likely he sent him there to collect some items and I'm sure there'd be some kind of charge there.
