He's carried that team solo ever since CJ retired. Atlanta has the deepest pool of weapons imaginable and an improving defense. Do they though? Like they didnt exactly have a TE or good #2 WR last year. And yea Ridley should help but the deepest pool of weapons seems way over the top. JaguarCrazy2832
As far as the question, i think it is razor-thin because it seemed like Brees took a step back(but that might just be he was relied on less because of the RB tandem) but Russell took a big step last year with no OL or running game at all. I voted Wilson because i think he will be better this year than Brees
patriotsheatyan
If Brees posted Wilson’s numbers last season we would be hearing that he was done, while if Wilson posted Brees numbers from last year on an 11 win team he would have somehow won MVP over Brady. Most people just blindly look at stats. And Brees had much lower bulk numbers last year. If you actually watched him play, it was pretty obvious he hadn't really declined, other than deep ball accuracy from arm getting weaker, but that's been going on with him for years. AntonChigurh
Depends, if Russell played on the Saints, he would be putting up Brees like numbers.

He makes a lot of tight throws into small windows. Seattles offense is run first, if he was in a more qb friendly offense, his yardage would be higher.
