showtime
Delete this thread. It's truly disrespectful to compare a guy who is a top 5 QB ever to someone who probably won't even come within the same galaxy as that when it's all said and done. Maybe in terms of bulk, but he wouldn't come near Bree's efficiency.

That guy is going down as one of the best ever. Not Brees good but dang good.
SkippyX
On his current trajectory, Wilson is one of the 10 best QBs to ever play the game. He has the 2nd highest career passer rating behind Rodgers (the only 2 above 100 with 1500+ attempts) Dude has like 22 TDs and 2 picks in his last 10 games on a team that is in no way special as far as talent goes. His numbers across the board at age 30 are astounding. Wilson may to hit 200 passing TDs at age 30 (190 with 4 games left) Brees had 202 Rodgers had 188 Rivers had 163 Wilson has 8 playoff wins at age 30. Brees had 1 at age 30. Brees has 7 through his age 38 season Rodgers had 5 through his age 30 season He has 9 through his age 35 season Rivers had 3 playoff wins at age 30 He had 4 through his age 36 season Wilson has 17 4th quarter comebacks and 22 game winning drives having just turned 30. Brees hit both of those numbers in his age 32 season. Rodgers may hit those numbers in 2020 (He's at 13 and 19 now) Rivers hit those numbers at age

I know some people ignore supporting cast when it comes to these things, but that's just silly. I think Wilson is a great QB, but I think he has more to prove if he wants to be considered top ten all time. It could happen, nothing has happened to rule it out, but not enough has happened to rule him in either.
ZenoRazon
There is no QB in the history of the game who had a more impressive first seven seasons than Russell Wilson. At the same stage of the career, Russell Wilson and not close. But, as of right now.....Drew Brees, but not by a whole hell of a lot.
