mdonnelly21
Who's the greatest WR of All Time. I already know Jerry Rice is going to and should win the poll by a large margin, but I'm going to go ahead and create it anyways.
Danger
Unquestionably Jerry Rice. Any other votes need to be examined with the capcha's used saying "I am not a robot"
Uncle Buck
Randy Moss. I won't go into why because we have all discussed this topic over and over again in many previous threads on the old site.
Bobikus
Moss because I gotta stand by a fellow WV native.
Forge
Jerry Rice, and not particularly close to me. There's a better argument for TO as number 2 than there is for Moss at #1 in my opinion.
ET80
Jerry Rice - but I'll cop to saying that the gap between Rice and Moss isn't as big as people make it out to be. Rice is in a tier of his own. Moss in in a tier of his own - which is lower. Then you have the rest of the field.
NFLExpert49
Don Hutson does not belong on the list. Being the best receiver in a 10 team league with no black players is a joke. Rice is #1. Charley Taylor, Bob Hayes, and Paul Warfield should be on the list. The people who say Moss > Rice never saw Rice in the 80s. Rice in the 80s (relative to the era) was like Randy Moss on the Vikings if you also made Moss the greatest RAC receiver in NFL history in addition to everything else. Rice's career trajectory was similar to that of Michael Jordan; when 1990 hit, both men noticeably lost a little bit of the top end of their athleticism, but they were so good and so successful that most just ignored that. And then Rice did a good job of making people think he was some kind of overachiever, when in reality he was a freak athlete.

You know how challenging it is to try to fit 10 WR's onto one list when your speak amongst the all time. What about... Steve Largent Lance Alworth Fred Biletkinoff James Loften Art Monk Reggie Wayne Andre Johnson Andre Reed Raymond Berry Don Maynard Steve Smith Jimmy Smith Charlie Joiner Isaac Bruce Lynn Swan

AFL was an inferior league. He didn't do anything after the merger. Biletnikoff was slower than sap flowing uphill. Monk was just a glorified possession receiver. Reggie Wayne...historically great hands, but not a historically great receiver. Maynard...another AFL guy. Joiner even being in the HOF is a joke. He wasn't great. Just played forever and then wound up padding his stats in Coryell's offense late in his career. Lynn Swann was talented, but you can't ignore the fact that he has by far the worst numbers of any HOF WR.

Warfield was the most polished among the 3, and plenty explosive for his era. Taylor was the best after the catch among them. Hayes had that whole "fastest man on the planet" thing going for him, plus he had some size/strength. Think I would go in that order: Warfield, Taylor, Hayes.
