showtime
First pre-season game beings Sunday, August 13th at 8:00pm est. Very exciting to finally get the season underway. I am very excited to see the young talent we have at wide receiver get a chance to shine in pre-season. I believe we have a deep receiving group and that makes me extremely confident throughout the season if injuries happen to crop up. Tanner McEvoy, Amara Darboh, Kenny Lawler, Cyril Grayson Jr. are just some of the names to watch out for. Who are you all excited to see?
animaltested
Im looking forward to the seeing all those new secondary pieces. Griffin, Tyson, Thompson, Hill, McDougald. Also, Jefferson and Naz Jones. I feel like interior guys get alot of chances to shine in preseason. IDK.
animaltested
1st Team Defense giving up a TD isnt what you want to see, regardless of which pre-season game it is. Clark picking up where he left off last year. Kasen, Lawler, McEvoy, Moore battle will be interesting week in week out. Did Darboh even play? Trevone looks alot better this year. Will be interesting to see if he can continue to be successful in the next 3 weeks. I'm ok with him being a backup as of right now. Naz Jones is my new man. Wilhoite was all over the field. Looks like he will fit in nicely, same with McDougald. Carson in, Collins out. Tried to focus on the oline, but I dont really have the eye for that. Seattles 2nd/3rd team look alot better than last year. I remember in '13,'14,15 Seattles backups dominated games. '16 was the first year they looked over matched. I understand San Diego is short staffed due to injuries, but it was nice to the backups flying all over the field. Really hope this continues. Seachickens
First thing I always hope for in a preseason game. No major injuries. But it was nice to see us dominate again. Best part was watching the O-line not play horrible. Been so use to seeing them play awful, was nice seeing them play ok.
