If I’m being optimistic my hope is that our DL and LBs are so strong, similar to Carolina in recent years, that the inexperience in the secondary is masked. Plus a big time surprise from our rookies or Justin Evans to continue his development in a big way wouldn’t hurt. But I do believe that a strong front 7 will mask a lot of secondary weaknesses. Hopefully he can still play at a decent level this season to give us time to get the rookies prepared. We have a lot of potential in the secondary, but I’m not sure this is the right coaching staff to unlock it.
