RSkinGM Posted July 24, 2018 Share Posted July 24, 2018 It's true. Mr Woody confirmed ( by E-mail to me ) that "someone" told him and he called The Redskins. "They" confirmed it but would only say it was "precautionary" and he was O K and would practice. Mr Woody went on to say he's heard that plenty of times only to see the player on the sidelines watching practice for the duration of training camp ! He said -- we'll see come Thursday. Wednesday is only conditioning anyway to see what kinda shape each player is in as camp opens. Drama on day one -=That's our Redskins ! Love 'em . Good find RSkinGM. Let’s hope it’s truly just precautionary and Doctson doesn’t miss much time and rest helps whatever is wrong with him. That did work last training camp when he tweaked his hamstring and missed some time. He does need to be out there to build chemistry with Alex Smith though, they just can’t push him if he’s not close to 100% because September is obviously more important than the end of July or the beginning of August. Pretty likely he loses that spot to Alexander or Stroman unless he gets healthy and really plays great the last few preseason games. He’ll probably end up a practice squad player again.
