Mega Ron
United grabbing another impressive 3 points off the back of a European win and a tough trip to Everton. We are ******* massive. Hunter2_1
Just took a look at the makeup of successful teams. It's obvious what these teams have in common; the unsung battler or distributer in midfield, who is of high quality Liverpool CL and Prem winners; Fabinho/Wijnaldum City's centurions; Fernandinho and now Rodri Bayern; Thiago and Goretzka Chelsea; Kante/Jorginho Real Madrid; Casemiro/Khedira Barca; Busquets Inter; Cambiaso and now Brozovic/Gagliadini PSG; Motta and Veratti You can't win anything if you don't have a smart and disciplined midfield base. A team with title aspirations trotting McFred out there OR attacking midfielders playing out of position is malpractice. Long may it continue hehe

Long may it continue hehe Fred is meant to be the ball winner, high energy, aggressive midfielder or no? or is it just that he doesn’t have the natural sitter by him? Coz I remember there was a stretch where a few United fans were trying to say Fred is better than Kante.

And now they blame him To be fair, Fred is decent (McTom isn't) but if you check out the LFC game, they had all of Rashford, Bruno, Ronaldo and Greenwood in forward positions like it was a 4-2-4. Those two had no prayer. Over run.

Mega Ron
I think I speak for fans of all the other clubs when I say that I hope Man Utd continue to be run in the exact same fashion.

Old Trafford theme park The issue at the heart of this is the structure of the football ops. Woodward and the football board (whatever the f that is) like to have a say in building a team. Often times over the manager. Take Van de Beek for example. Talented guy but they primarily bought him because Van der Saar recommended him. Ignoring the fact that they had Pogba and Bruno Fernandes who play the same role for them. You need a manager to have control of his football team and build around his vision. Commercial interests be damned.

I'll never understand teams who have suits making football decisions for them. This is why I'm pro-Conte. He just demands money and all the say in football operations. He's the brain and he should get to pick his chess pieces. Woodward needs to F off. But I hope he doesn't, obviously.
persiandud
Conte would be a great hiring, but I don't think he fits with the historical philosophy of the club. Manchester United wants to play attacking football, on the front foot. That's what OGS has been trying to give them, and to his credit he's done well to bring the club back up, but as we all can see it's painfully obvious he doesn't have the tactical nous to keep up with the best managers in the world. Gary Neville is right, Conte is a world class manager but he doesn't fit
PARROTHEAD
All Hail The Triumphant Kings Of London. As we bless the North London peasants. Use this gift your king has gifted you wisely West Ham. And gain 3 on City as Arsenal did.
Hunter2_1
Spurs give with Nuno the arse... Why even get him in the first place? They think they're a bigger club than they actually are. Now that Kane has downed tools, they are doomed. They think they're getting Conte now too....
