Realistically they could keep two kickers rostered if they want. Neither he or Barth make any significant money. I agree with it being a no risk look see. He walked into Tampa with expectations of greatness. Here he has no pressure other than any he puts on himself.

True, for even the little he makes, he could be considered to stay as only a kickoff specialist even.

He actually had these "mortar" kicks at FSU that would die at the 1 or 2 yardline and pinned on one of the boundaries.

 

FG-wise... I don't know if his mechanics are garbage, but he changed them from what he did in college.
